Drie struikvuur-velden en één rots-veld blijven onbezet in je park gedurende het hele spel, en zes boom-velden en vier gras-velden zijn onbezet aan het begin van het spel.
Als je aan de beurt bent, noem je een bepaalde open tegel die alle spelers moeten oppakken, omdraaien en dan naar een andere lege plek in hun eigen park verplaatsen. Tegels die zijn omgedraaid kunnen niet opnieuw worden verplaatst, en zodra alle tegels zijn verplaatst eindigt het spel met een waarderingsronde. Eerst worden de tegels die grenzen aan bosbranden verwijderd als er evenveel dieren op staan als het aantal branden (1, 2, of 3) op het bosbrand-veld. Score voor elke gras en boom onbedekt op uw bord. Tenslotte scoor je voor elk van de zes diersoorten; hoe groter de hoofdkudde van elk van de diersoorten en hoe meer watergaten deze bevat, hoe meer punten je scoort, bijv. een kudde van vijf neushoorns en drie watergaten is (5x3) 15 punten waard. De speler met de meeste punten wint.
Savannah Park bevat een solospel, een opzetvariant waarbij u de bosbranden en bomen kunt plaatsen waar u wilt, en een scoringsvariant waarbij u wordt beloond als u een leeuw uit de weg stoot.

Our Aussie lives these toys! She hasn’t torn any up yet. She did manage to tear off an ear from the cheetah but the rest of the toy is intact after a lot of tugging and biting. Comes with 2 squeakers for more fun. She loves playing with these and will toss them up in the air and chase it by herself.
