Het meest zichtbaar is dat "snelheid" te maken heeft met het zo snel mogelijk overbrengen van grote bestanden, of het overbrengen van voldoende gegevens voor een HD-video. Voor USB-audio (en voor HDMI-audio) is "snelheid" kritisch, niet vanwege hoe-snel, maar omdat tijdrelaties binnen een digitale stroom kritisch zijn voor de reconstructie van de analoge golfvorm die informatie, muziek en plezier in onze oren brengt. Looptijdverschillen in het digitale tijdsdomein (jitter) van het signaal maakt dat het geluid bedompt en plat klinkt in plaats van 3D, helder en transparant.

AudioQuest USB Type-C kabels zijn voorzien van geleidermaterialen en constructietechnieken waarmee AQ's andere USB-kabels wereldwijd de "Best-In-Class" erkenning hebben gekregen.
