Dit is een grootbloemige Rhododendron soort, de Rhododendron 'Madame Masson' heesters. Deze wintergroene struiken bloeien in mei-juni. De bloeikleur is prachtig wit. De Rhododendron zijn populaire heesters om meer bijen en vlinders te lokken. De volwassen hoogte en breedte van deze in het oog springende heester is ca. 2.50 meter. Deze populaire Rhododendron 'Madame Masson' is winterhard tot ongeveer -20 graden Celsius.

Rododendron struiken combineren met...

Rododendron struiken van Yarinde laten zich goed combineren met een borderpakket Ilse, Tom en Eltjo. Tevens goed te combineren met andere soorten Rododendron struiken (met andere bloeikleur), Hortensia's (Eikenbladhortensia tot Pluimhortensia), Skimmia's, Rotsheide, winterheide, zomerheide en Herfstanemoon of Duizendknoop vaste planten. Deze witbloeiende 'Madame Masson' combineert goed met vrijwel elke andere bloeikleur.

Bodem Rhododendron 'Madame Masson'

Deze Rhododendron staat graag in een vochthoudende tot vochtige, 'gemiddelde' bodem. Alle Rhododendron soorten zijn zuurminnende tuinplanten. Om de grond zuur te maken en deze Rhododendron direct te voorzien van voedingstoffen gebruikt u DCM - Aanplantgrond voor zuurminnende tuinplanten. Deze struik verlangt een plek in de halfschaduw of op een plek in de volle zon.

Aanplanting Rhododendron 'Madame Masson'

Graaf een gat dat twee keer zo groot is als de kluit van de plant. Meng de opgegraven aarde met de DCM - Aanplantgrond voor zuurminnende tuinplanten. Verwijder de pot van de kluit en plaats deze in het plantengat. Plant de struik net zo diep als de de kluit hoog is. De kluit en grond dienen dus even hoog te zijn. Gebruik de opgegraven aarde + DCM aanplantgrond mengsel om het gat verder te dichten. Stamp het geheel goed aan en geef de aankomende tijd voldoende water.

Snoeien en verzorgen Rhododendron 'Madame Masson'

Haal de uitgebloeide en verlepte bloemen met de hand weg. Hierdoor stimuleert u de groei van nieuwe scheuten en een eventuele doorbloei. Deze struiken vragen in de warme en droge zomermaanden regelmatig water. Houdt daarom de bodem goed vochtig. Indien noodzakelijk kunt u in het najaar takken weghalen. Voor de gezondheid van uw Rhododendron is dit niet noodzakelijk.

Bijzonderheden Rhododendron 'Madame Masson'

Plant de Rododendrons niet te diep in de grond. Gele bladeren op uw Rododendron zijn een symptoom voor een gebrek aan mineralen en voedingstoffen. Dit gebrek ontstaat als de grond niet voldoende zuur of doorlatend is. U kunt de zuurtegraad van de grond (pH waarde) in uw tuin grond omlaag brengen door tuinturf toe te voegen (jaarlijks). De Rhododendron Russatum wordt ook wel de Dwergrhododendron of Azalea genoemd.

Borderpakketten

Ontdek naast de heesters en struiken ook de borderpakketten van Yarinde, tevens voor zure grond. Voor elke 10 m2 tuin of tuinborder plant u bijvoorbeeld 2 struiken. Zo creëert u meer body in de tuin. Verschil in potmaten en hoogtes

Hoe groter de potmaat van de plant, hoe meer wortels de plant heeft. Dat betekent dat de plant beter in staat is om voedingstoffen en water te vinden. Het resultaat is dat de planten sneller zullen groeien en beter bestand zijn tegen extreme weersomstandigheden. De prijs wordt dus bepaald door de grote van de potmaat (oftewel kluit).

My coffee is now judging your coffee.
I’m a simple man. All I wanted was decent foam on my morning coffee without paying $7 at Starbucks like a sucker. What I got instead is this charcoal black, LED-equipped, triple-whisk, rocket-powered milk frother that feels like it should have a NASA logo on it. This thing has three speeds and an actual digital battery display. I caught myself staring at the 1% accuracy battery percentage like it was the stock market. “We’re at 87%… we’re still frothing kings today.” The magnetic charging dock is so satisfying it should be illegal. I literally say “goodnight” to it when I put it back on the stand. The spring whisk? Velvety microfoam so perfect my wife asked if I was having an affair with a barista. The balloon whisk made whipped cream so fluffy my kids thought it was a cloud that fell into their hot chocolate. And the hook whisk? Blended my protein shake with zero lumps, a miracle previously only achieved by professional athletes and people with patience. Battery life is ridiculous. I’ve been using it twice a day for two weeks and it’s still at 64%. This frother could survive a zombie apocalypse better than I could. The only real downside? I now judge other people’s coffee foam in public. Saw a sad flat latte the other day and whispered “that man doesn’t own the Dropology frother…” If you like coffee, matcha, hot chocolate, or just feeling like a kitchen god, buy this immediately. It’s the most over-engineered $30-ish gadget I’ve ever loved. 10/10 would froth again.

Powerful and I love the charging base and attachments
This is surprisingly more powerful than I thought it would be. It will whip up an egg for scrambled eggs as well as froth your milk. It came with 3 attachments and a charging base. You can charge it using the base or directly in to the frother using the included usbc. I have had battery operated frothers that really weren't that great. This one is blows them all away. I use it mainly to stir my coffee and scramble my eggs and I'm sure I will find many more ways to use it. Its a great value and looks nice on my counter top.

Can't turn it off quickly. Charging stand falls over easily.
This Electric Milk Frother Handheld: Wireless Starlight Black comes with three stainless steel mixer attachments, a charging cable, and a stand that holds the frother with magnets. The attachments are friction fit, they are easy to change and stay securely in place. The frother has three speeds, the speed changes by pressing the On button. Which is why I deducted one star. The problem is you can not turn the frother off quickly. You have to either cycle through the speeds, or hold the button for 2 seconds. When making a chocolate drink, I could not turn the frother off when my drink was about to spill and it made a mess. I recommend getting a frother with a momentary on off button that you hold down to keep it running and let off to stop it. I removed a second star because the base of the charger is narrow and light making it easy to fall over. It has to be taped to the counter with double sided tape.

This wonderful tool may be the most used tool in our kitchen. The hardest thing about it is to remember you can push the button and it runs- you don't have to hold it!. I worried about the price, but it is a great value because we bought it in December 2024 and it is more powerful and has already lasted longer than two whimpy ones.
