De schoen valt onder de veiligheidsklasse S3, wat betekent dat deze is uitgerust met een beschermende neus, een gesloten hiel, antistatische eigenschappen, energieabsorptie in de hiel en een doorloopbeveiliging. De schoen is voorzien van een glasvezelversterkte neus

De Puma Conquest Stone High S3 is een robuuste veiligheidsschoen die ontworpen is voor zware werkomstandigheden, waarbij esthetiek wordt gecombineerd met technische bescherming. De schoen valt onder de veiligheidsklasse S3, wat betekent dat deze is uitgerust met een beschermende neus, een gesloten hiel, antistatische eigenschappen, energieabsorptie in de hiel en een doorloopbeveiliging.

De schoen is voorzien van een glasvezelversterkte neus (fiberglass cap), die een uitstekende bescherming biedt tegen impact tot 200 Joule, conform de EN ISO 20345 normering. In tegenstelling tot traditionele stalen neuzen is glasvezel lichter, antimagnetisch en biedt het betere thermische isolatie, wat essentieel is in wisselende werkomgevingen. De zool is uitgerust met een flexibele FAP-tussenzool (Flexible Anti-Penetration) die bescherming biedt tegen het binnendringen van scherpe voorwerpen, zonder de flexibiliteit van de schoen aan te tasten.

Voor het comfort is de schoen uitgerust met een "BreathActive" functionele voering. Deze voering maakt gebruik van microkanalen om vocht af te voeren en het voetklimaat te reguleren, wat vooral bij langdurig gebruik en fysieke inspanning cruciaal is. De 17 cm hoge schacht biedt extra ondersteuning aan de enkel, wat bijdraagt aan stabiliteit op ongelijk terrein.

De SCUFF CAPS EVO-zool is een technisch hoogstandje binnen de Puma Safety-lijn. Deze zool is hittebestendig tot 300°C (HRO-normering) gedurende één minuut, wat de schoen geschikt maakt voor omgevingen met hete oppervlakken. De SRC-classificatie garandeert een hoge mate van slipweerstand op zowel keramische tegels als stalen ondergronden. De toevoegingen CI (Cold Insulation) en HI (Heat Insulation) in de specificaties duiden op de isolerende eigenschappen van de zoolconstructie tegen kou en hitte, terwijl FO staat voor de weerstand tegen brandstoffen en oliën.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
