Voor nog betere prestaties profiteert de Le R van een anti-scheur en anti-lek materiaal en SmartGRIP Compound technologie. Deze compound is ontwikkeld en getest op circuits over de hele wereld en geeft de band ongelooflijke grip, duurzaamheid en vloeibaarheid onder alle omstandigheden.

De zijwanden hebben een extra 120tpi anti-scheurlaag, voor effectieve bescherming zonder afbreuk te doen aan de prestaties. Het Scorpion R karkas is speciaal ontwikkeld voor een stabielere rit bij lage druk, een groter contactoppervlak en betere trillingsdemping.
