Robotic Precision, Elevated Vision: Discover PTR-15T 4K Robotic Pan-Tilt head

Datavideo's PTR-15T is a 4K 12G-SDI HDBaseT robotic pan tilt head with FreeD functionality.

It features an efficient driving system for smooth, precise pan and tilt movements. Compatible with most broadcast-grade cameras, it allows remote control of camera functions like pan, tilt, zoom, and aperture.

With HDBaseT connectivity, the PTR-15T simplifies setups by transmitting 4K video, audio, control signals, and power over a single Ethernet cable, reducing clutter and extending connection distances. However, it's important to note that the PTR-15T can only be used in conjunction with the HBT-18, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity.

The PTR-15T also includes a built-in FreeD virtual tracking feature, using computer vision to track subjects accurately.

Control options include IR, VISCA protocol, Datavideo RMC-180 MARK II, RMC-300A, HS-1600T series, and compatibility with serial and Ethernet (DVIP) connections.

Versatile Signal Connectivity

The PTR-15T boasts an extensive range of signal interfaces for seamless integration with the remote head.

These interfaces encompass SDI, HDMI, RS-232, RS-422, DVIP, HDBaseT, Tally, and LANC, providing diverse connectivity options.

Light Weight, Strong, and Sturdy Design

Engineered from robust aluminum alloy, PTR-15 features a super-strong design, providing a sturdy foundation for your camera setup. This construction ensures dependable support for cameras weighing up to 4 kilograms.

Comprehensive IP Control

In addition to the standard RS-232/422 control, the PTR-15T provides robust IP-based control, keeping up with the modern trend of IP-based systems. This technology migrates the camera control protocols and technical parameter adjustments used in high-end broadcast studios to an open IP environment. This transformation breaks away from the previous limitations of exclusive one-to-one control, enabling the free switching of different cameras and achieving precise adjustments of camera parameters such as aperture, shutter, red/blue gain, inflection point, and more. This advancement allows on-site camera operations to enter an unprecedented era of convenience.

Free-D Virtual Studio Camera Position Awareness System Communication

Datavideo's PTR-15T robotic pan tilt head combines advanced pan-tilt technology with AR/VR systems. It interfaces via RS-422 to transmit pan, tilt, and zoom data to the TVS-3000 Virtual Studio Production System, ensuring seamless collaboration.

For different cameras and lenses, it supports lens tracking data acquisition via ZEK-1 or ZEK-2 sensors, enabling lens zoom control and motor tracking synchronization. The RS-422 output provides 8-bit precision Free-D protocol tracking data, compatible with most virtual systems.

It offers precise pan (±340 degrees) and tilt (±45 degrees) control with adjustable motion trajectories and speeds, achieving high precision. Built on Datavideo's DVIP protocol, it's compatible with TCP/IP network protocols, supporting third-party device control.

You can choose the RMC-300A IP control panel with a 5-inch UI touchscreen or the RMC-180 MARK II serial control panel for dual-system control, enhancing security and reliability.

Optional Accessories: ZEK-1 Zoom Encoder Kit

ZEK-1 is the solution to your free running Zoom cameras.

PTR-15T can read its own Pan/Tilt movement and send back to controller for position memory and recall. Now, with ZEK-1, it can detect and read out the Zoom changes. And convert those information into Zoom position to send back for controller to memory and recall the saved zoom position.

Compatible with cameras via zoom moving ring.

Best watch I've ever owned in my 60yrs
Color: Brown
I purchased this 36mm Expedition North Solar Field watch about one month ago, for roughly $150, and I couldn't be more impressed. When I took it out of the box the first week of January, it had no charge...because it was in a dark box in freezing temperatures. No problem, I shined light from a regular 500 lumen rechargeable flashlight on the watch face and the second hand started to move, erratically at first, but within a minute it was moving normally. I set up the flashlight 3 inches from the watch face and left it on for 3 hours, and it has been keeping perfect time ever since. I do physical labor and this watch looks just as good as it did when I got it a month ago. The low profile keeps you from banging the watch on everything you walk past, or reach for, and the black watch face contrasting with the white numbers and near white dials, makes it very easy to tell the time at night. Also, in the past I had owned quite a few expensive watches, however, my last watch was a Timex Indiglo that I put a Shell Cordovan band on, and the real leather band that comes with this watch is more comfortable than the shell cordovan. I only own 1 watch and wear my watch continuously, only taking it off when I shower, so I feel after a month I have a pretty good read on what this watch is. It is a very tough, reliable, and comfortable watch that I will be wearing for many years to come. In my opinion, the best value for a field watch on the market.

Understated Style
Color: Brown/Black
I prefer Timex over Casio because of their superior aesthetics. Timex watches have never failed me. This model fits smaller men's wrists around 6 inches in diameter, and the watch face is the right size. The black face with white numbers is easy to read. The metallic body looks awesome with the brown leather band. I wish they made one with a white face. The storage battery holds up very well when there is no sun. Accuracy is excellent. This is a very presentable and versatile watch for informal wear and business casual situations.

Quality and Reliability - Hit or Miss
Color: Brown
Update: I went ahead and bought this watch again. Like many other Timex watches I’ve had in the past, the first one was faulty but I decided to roll the dice again. I needed a beater solar watch for when I go hiking, camping, etc. There are several options out there—Vaer, Casio, Citizen. I liked the look of Vaer, but their solar offerings are overpriced, IMO. The Citizen watches priced similarly to this Timex are too big and don’t offer sapphire. Casio’s analog watches have the same issue. There is their Edifice watch, but I don’t like integrated bracelets. So Timex it is again. 36mm, sapphire, solar powered, 100m water resistant, a field watch, it has what I'm looking for. And this second time around, it's been good so far— it's been reliable and accurate. So, it’s the luck of the draw with these watches. It’s one of the more attractive Timex watches, too. If I hadn't had a prior bad experience with this watch, I would give it 5 stars. But due to the inconsistency in quality, I can’t rate it higher than 3 stars. Original review: I wanted to add a solar powered watch to my collection. So, after some research, I decided to buy this one. It had great specs—sapphire crystal, 100m water resistance, solar powered (of course), looked good in pictures. A perfect grab-and-go-anywhere watch. It was love at first sight when I got this watch; It was seeming like a great bang-for-buck product… That is, until I looked at it as a timekeeping device—its primary purpose. I compared it to my other watches and noticed it was 4 seconds behind. I thought maybe I had set the time wrong, so I corrected it. A few days passed, and again it was several seconds behind. I repeated this process a few more times, same results. So here’s the problem: this watch doesn’t keep good time. More specifically… This QUARTZ watch doesn’t keep good time. Derided by watch collectors as having no soul, accuracy is a quartz watch’s most redeeming quality. It may lack soul, but you can’t say it doesn’t excel at timekeeping; it wipes the floor with mechanical watches in that department. But this quartz watch doesn’t do that. At least the one I got didn’t do that; your results may vary. But this is the third Timex in a row that I’ve bought that cost over $100 that had some kind of major defect… Three times in a row.. I can’t rationalize buying a Timex anymore. At least not at the higher price range. Luckily, Amazon has a good return policy.

Very versatile
Color: Brown/Black
Fantastic watch, as long as it's exposed to some light will never run out. I have expensive watches as well, but I end up coming back to this one frequently as it's dressy enough, and small enough to fit well under motorcycle gloves. Sapphire glass at this price point is really great as well.
