Voltaren Patch 140mg Once Daily is een pijnstillende pleister die behoort tot de groep niet-steroïdale ontstekingsremmers (NSAID's). Deze pleister bevat natriumdiclofenac als werkzame stof en biedt lokale pijnverlichting bij acute blessures. De pleister werkt gedurende 24 uur en moet slechts één keer per dag worden aangebracht. Geschikt voor adolescenten vanaf 16 jaar en volwassenen.

Indicaties: waarvoor gebruik ik dit product?

Deze pijnstillende pleister is bedoeld voor de kortetermijnbehandeling van lokale pijn. De pleister helpt bij acute verrekkingen van spieren. Ook bij verstuikingen door sportblessures biedt de pleister verlichting. Kneuzingen aan armen of benen kunnen ermee worden behandeld. De pleister is uitsluitend bestemd voor gebruik op ledematen. De maximale behandelduur bedraagt 7 dagen.

Gebruiksaanwijzing

  • Breng één pleister per dag aan op de pijnlijke plek
  • Gebruik maximaal 1 pleister per 24 uur, ook bij meerdere pijnlijke plekken
  • Behandel slechts één pijnlijke zone tegelijk
  • Plaats de pleister alleen op intacte, schone en droge huid
  • Verwijder de beschermlaag en druk de pleister stevig aan
  • Versnijd de pleister niet
  • Draag de pleister niet tijdens baden of douchen
  • Gebruik geen luchtdicht verband over de pleister
  • Gebruik niet langer dan 7 dagen achtereen

Contra-indicaties: wanneer gebruik ik dit product niet?

  • Bij overgevoeligheid voor diclofenac of andere bestanddelen
  • Bij allergie voor andere NSAID's zoals acetylsalicylzuur of ibuprofen
  • Bij eerdere astma-aanvallen na gebruik van NSAID's
  • Bij actieve maag- of darmzweren
  • Op beschadigde huid zoals schaafwonden, snijwonden of brandwonden
  • Op geïnfecteerde huid of huid met eczeem
  • Tijdens de laatste drie maanden van de zwangerschap
  • Bij kinderen en jongeren onder de 16 jaar

Mogelijke bijwerkingen

Vaak voorkomend:

  • Roodheid van de huid op de aanbrengplaats
  • Branderig gevoel onder de pleister
  • Jeuk of huiduitslag
  • Huidirritatie met puistjes

Zeer zelden voorkomend:

  • Contactdermatitis
  • Lokale allergische reacties

Incidenteel gemeld:

  • Gegeneraliseerde huiduitslag over het hele lichaam
  • Zwelling van huid en slijmvliezen
  • Ernstige allergische reacties
  • Lichtgevoeligheid van de huid

Eigenschappen

De Voltaren Patch is een zelfklevende pleister die werkzame stof gedurende 24 uur afgeeft. De pleister bevat een steunlaag van polyester en een speciale kleeflaag die de werkzame stof bevat. Door de langdurige afgifte is slechts één toepassing per dag nodig.

Voorzorgsmaatregelen

Gebruik de Voltaren Patch niet gelijktijdig met andere diclofenac-bevattende geneesmiddelen. Combinatie met andere NSAID's moet worden vermeden. Stel de behandelde huid niet bloot aan direct zonlicht of zonnebanken. Raadpleeg een arts indien de klachten na 7 dagen niet verbeteren of verergeren. Zwangere vrouwen mogen dit product alleen tijdens de eerste zes maanden gebruiken na overleg met een arts. Gebruik tijdens borstvoeding wordt afgeraden zonder medisch advies.

Decent copper clad aluminum
Size: 14AWG-50FT
If you want the best wire, you should probably go with pure copper wire. It is more expensive but conducts better and thus is more efficient and less likely to heat up. If you are doing a low power, short run of cable, however, this wire should serve your purposes well. My purposes for such wire are varied. I am a licensed ham, like to build circuits, and have an electrical engineering degree. Depending on the specific tasks I'm on, some I'll gladly use this wire, others I'll go with pure copper. In comparison to other similar copper clad aluminum wire I've used in the past, the wire is pretty flexible and easy to work with. I also prefer the softer insulation like this has. You need to fit the wire to the job but if you have the job this is right for, it'll serve you well.

good wire for the price

This speaker wire is of good quality. I don’t know what to say about it besides that its 14 gauge, which is a bit on the thick side, but good for getting high quality sound or for doing long runs of cable. Its not pure copper, but that's not really necessary unless you are an audiophile and even then, i wonder if its really noticeable. The 50 feet it comes with is enough for a 5.1 surround system, as long as your speakers aren’t too far away. I haven't noticed any weird sounds from my system after setting it up with this cable. The housing is relatively thick but not shielded, so I was careful to keep it away from power cords. All in all this is good cable, especially for the price, and I would purchase it again.

Not as good as pure copper, but maybe good enough

This wire is copper-clad aluminum, which means you sacrifice some conductivity for a for a less expensive conductor. This wire is very lightly clad with copper - the thinness of the copper coating is obvious from a casual observation (see image). I measured 4-wire resistance across the entire length (50') of wire - it comes out to 0.34 ohms on each lead. This is a bit less than double what you'd expect from an equivalent length of the same gauge of multistrand copper, so if you're planning on running a long length of this it might be prudent to pretend that you're working with a slightly smaller gauge than you actually are. That is exactly the approach I'm taking with it, and it works well for me within that context.
