De plant is ideaal voor het bedekken van grote oppervlakken, schaduwrijke plekken, hellingen en onderbeplanting onder bomen en struiken. Dankzij zijn krachtige groeivermogen onderdrukt hij effectief onkruid en zorgt hij voor een blijvend groene en verzorgde uitstraling in de tuin.

Standplaats en verzorging
Vinca minor ‘Atropurpurea’ groeit op vrijwel alle grondsoorten en doet het goed in zowel zon, halfschaduw als schaduw. De plant is zeer onderhoudsarm en breidt zich vanzelf uit. Een lichte snoei in het vroege voorjaar (voor februari) helpt om de groei compact en gezond te houden.
