Door het royale formaat van dit wiel is dat niet langer aan de order. De wervelkolom wordt minimaal belast omdat het dier veel rechter kan lopen en het gesloten loopgedeelte zorgt voor veilig rennen. Het wiel is gemaakt van kunststof voor makkelijk reinigen en loopt soepel en fluisterstil, ideaal omdat muizen en hamsters nachtdieren zijn. Het wiel is met de houder rechtop in de kooi te zetten, maar ook aan de tralies te bevestigen.
