Materiaal en onderhoud

De Ollo bijzettafel is vervaardigd uit keramiek, gevormd uit geboetseerde en afgebakken klei. De glanzende glazuurlaag zorgt voor een verfijnde uitstraling en extra bescherming van het materiaal. Voor het onderhoud volstaat een zachte, vochtige doek. Gebruik bij hardnekkige vlekken een mild reinigingsmiddel en droog het oppervlak daarna af om waterplekken te voorkomen. Vermijd schurende middelen om de glanzende afwerking mooi te houden.

Goed om te weten

Keramiek vraagt om een gelijkmatige gewichtsverdeling. Een smal drukpunt kan ervoor zorgen dat het materiaal barst of breekt. De tafel is daarom niet geschikt om op te zitten of te staan. Plaats viltglijders aan de onderzijde om je vloer te beschermen.

I ordered the unscented, and it is truly unscented. It is solid, but by rubbing you finger around the top of the tallow, it immediately begins softening and melting. I used too much the first time, as it leaves a sticky/tacky film on the skin, so as the instructions say, a little goes a long way. Even though the next time I was careful to use very little, I do think it leaves a little tacky and greasy feeling, but it does soften and protect the skin. My only complaint is that due to the size of the jar, and if you have long fingernails, you can't just rub your finger on top of the tallow without getting it all under your fingernails. I'd like the jar to be changed to a short wide mouth vessel, hence only a 4 star rating.
