Van alle Apple iOS- en Mac-apparaten (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Macbook, enz.) kun je elke audio-uitgang via AirPlay naar de AirLino streamen, of het nu gaat om lokale audiobestanden of internetstreams zoals Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music, Apple Music, enz.

Voor Android en Windows-apparaten kun je met behulp van UPnP/dlna-compatibele apps, zoals BubbleUPnP, Whaale, Windows Media Player, etc., lokale en op netwerkrekenmachines of NAS-opgeslagen audiobestanden naar AirLino streamen. Het streamen van internetinhoud (Spotify, Deezer, enz.) werkt alleen met speciale apps op gerooteerde Android-systemen.

Eigen internet-radio-functie

Via de AirLino-app kun je uit tienduizenden internetradiozenders je favoriete zenders selecteren en beluisteren. Deze streams haalt de AirLino rechtstreeks uit het internet, zodat je smartphone, tablet of pc niet wordt belast. Als je de AirLino op een ingeschakeld stopcontact (aan/uit) gebruikt, wordt de laatst afgespeelde radiostream na het inschakelen automatisch weer gestart.

Er zijn vijf lijsten à negen geheugenplaatsen beschikbaar, waarbij een lijst lokaal binnen de app wordt opgeslagen en vier lijsten in de AirLino worden opgeslagen, waartoe ook andere gebruikers van je AirLinos toegang kunnen hebben.

AirLino Configurator-app

Met de AirLino Configurator-app (Android, iOS en Windows 7/8/10) kunnen AirLinos in een bestaand wifi-netwerk worden geïntegreerd, om via deze in het netwerk muziek of internetradio te beluisteren.

Daarmee is de draadloze overdracht van muziek- en audiosignalen in het netwerk naar meerdere weergaveapparaten tegelijkertijd mogelijk en dat bij een uniek luistergenot in hifi-kwaliteit.

En zo eenvoudig is het:

1) Verbind je eindapparaat onder Instellingen > WLAN met de AirLino.

2) Start de AirLino Configurator-app en selecteer je AirLino.

3) Indien nodig kun je nu een individuele apparaatnaam geven of een van de vooraf ingestelde mogelijkheden selecteren.

4) Sluit de AirLino nu onder netwerkintegratie in het gewenste netwerk. Daarmee is de audio-ontvanger vanaf nu beschikbaar in het wifi-netwerk.

Opmerkingen:

Als meerdere AirLinos moet worden geïntegreerd, moeten de hierboven genoemde stappen 1-4 voor elk afzonderlijk apparaat worden uitgevoerd.

Although the wood quality and finish of the shelf are clean and well-made, the main issue is that the shelves begin to sag over time while holding around 10 pounds, even though the product listing claims they can support up to 20 pounds. They may perform better on a brick wall, but on drywall you should be cautious. To fix the problem, I had to purchase floating shelf brackets for support, which solved the sagging issue. However, this defeats the purpose of the “floating” aesthetic. Since the shelf is in my bedroom, I can overlook it, but I personally wouldn’t install these in a common area if I wanted a clean floating look.

There are plenty of mounting holes to choose from, so it is easy to screw it directly into a stud, or to just use holes that are convenient for you. It comes with a plethora of mounting hardware.
