Deze Moscato-druiven zijn afkomstig van wijnstokken die in het gebied van Valdivilla staan. Dit is een heuvelachtig gebied, op 400 meter boven zeeniveau, liggend op het zuidwesten. De grond is dun, kleiachtig, mergel-kalkhoudend, gepositioneerd op een rotslaag die een ideale rijping van de druiven mogelijk maakt.
