Na een paar honderd optredens en hun eerste langspeler 'Blue Mountain Trail' is er nu de opvolger; Part 2. Dit nieuwe album is een volgende stap in de muziek van het viertal. Waar voorheen een eigenzinnige greep uit het Amerikaanse Roots repertoire uit de groef klonk, zijn het nu liedjes van eigen hand, in die herkenbare Mannen met Baarden sound. De liedjes, geschreven vanuit ieders eigen perspectief, kregen vorm rond de keukentafel en werden in twee sessies opgenomen in de gerenommeerde studio van Gabriel Peeters in Eindhoven. Tijdens de opnames werden de instrumenten, zang en harmonies gelijktijdig vastgelegd, waardoor je het idee krijgt dat je bij de Baarden aan tafel zit. De vertrouwde meerstemmige zang blijft kenmerkend voor de wijze waarop de liedjes worden vertolkt en het album krijgt extra diepte en kleur door de fantastische bijdrage van een aantal bevriende muzikanten.
