Het specifieke profiel bevat talrijke noppen voor een langere levensduur en uitzonderlijke controle. Dankzij de Addix Soft-rubbersamenstelling garandeert deze band optimale tractie en uitstekende wendbaarheid op technisch terrein. Het Gravity Pro -karkas is ontworpen voor intensiever gebruik bij enduro en downhill. Het is daarom iets zwaarder dan het Trail-karkas, maar biedt meer stabiliteit en een betere bescherming tegen lekrijden.

Schwalbe heeft de structuur van mountainbikebanden herzien: in plaats van een klassiek diagonaal weefpatroon worden de draden onder een meer stompe hoek geplaatst, waardoor de band zich plaatselijk beter kan vervormen. Zo volgt hij oneffenheden veel beter dan een band met een diagonaal karkas en behoudt hij altijd contact met de grond. Het resultaat: meer grip, meer comfort en meer veiligheid op het terrein. Bovendien neemt het contactoppervlak bij gelijke bandenspanning met ongeveer 30% toe.

De radiaalbanden, die speciaal voor de Wereldbeker Downhill zijn ontwikkeld, hebben Amaury Pierron in staat gesteld te schitteren: hij won in Val di Sole en Les Gets met indrukwekkende voorsprongen.
