Danny Vera brengt op 28 augustus The New Black & White Pt. IV - Home Recordings uit. De vierde in de serie EP's die Danny Vera - naast zijn reguliere albums - uitbrengt op cd en 10” vinyl. Op The New Black & White staan altijd een paar eigen tracks die worden aangevuld met bepalende covers: Zijn Het Je Ogen van Koos Alberts, In The Ghetto van Elvis Presley en Berlin’s Take My Breath Away. Naast de covers opent de plaat met een intieme versie van het eigen Hold On To Let Go. De muziek wordt thuis in Middelburg opgenomen. Althans, bijna alle nummers worden daar opgenomen, want op Pt. IV staat een nieuwe versie van Pressure Makes Diamonds. De Radio 2 Topsong is met blazers, strijkers en een heus koor in een nieuwe versie op tape gezet door Frans Hagenaars in de SSE Noord Studio. Al met al een zeer diverse plaat met veel verschillende thema’s, muziek en instrumentatie, maar ontegenzeggelijk Danny Vera.
