Dit is een bijzondere wijn die de aandacht vestigt op de oude Carignan-druivenstokken die voor deze wijn worden gebruikt. De wijnstokken hebben al 125 jaar lang druiven geproduceerd die perfect zijn aangepast aan hun omgeving. Gedurende deze periode zijn de wijnstokken zorgvuldig onderhouden en herplant met hetzelfde hout om hun bijzondere eigenschappen te behouden. Het feit dat de wijnstokken al meer dan een eeuw oud zijn, geeft deze wijn een buitengewone erfgoedwaarde en draagt bij aan de rijke geschiedenis en traditie van de regio. Deze historische wijnstokken zijn een belangrijk onderdeel van de herkomst van La Fabrique Vieux Carignan en geven de wijn een unieke en authentieke persoonlijkheid. Het is een eerbetoon aan het verleden en een viering van het vakmanschap van de wijnmakers die de zorg hebben gedragen voor deze oude wijnstokken gedurende al die jaren. De Carignan druiven worden bij optimale rijpheid volledig met de hand geoogst. Na de oogst worden de druiven in de wijnmakerij ontsteeld maar niet gekneusd voordat ze in vaten worden geplaatst. De alcoholische gisting vindt plaats gedurende 15 dagen bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur. Tijdens de gisting wordt een grote beluchte overpomping uitgevoerd om de extractie van kleur en smaakstoffen te bevorderen. De andere overpompingen zijn licht en duren slechts 5 minuten per dag. Na de gisting wordt de wijn meerdere keren overgeheveld en gedecanteerd voordat hij in vaten wordt geplaatst voor de malolactische gisting. Dit proces helpt de wijn te stabiliseren en voegt complexiteit en zachtheid toe aan de smaak. Na de nodige rust wordt de wijn gebotteld en kunnen we genieten van deze krachtpatser.De zuivere smaak van Calmel & Joseph La Fabrique Vieux Carignan
Calmel & Joseph La Fabrique Vieux Carignan is een wijn met een verleidelijke neus vol aroma's van bosaardbeien, vers druivensap, laurierblaadjes en een vleugje groene peper. Bij de eerste slok ervaar je een soepele, openhartige en zuivere smaak. De tannines zijn zijdezacht en de natuurlijke frisheid van de Carignan-druiven zorgt voor een prachtig fruitig karakter in de mond, met tonen van jinx en vijg, en subtiele kruidige nuances op de afdronk.Shipping Notes

It's hard af.

Edit: just realized Amazon sent me a left handed one!
I got this one and the g2 or whatever with the strap. The g2 is great. This one is hard though. The edges of the rest thingy. And the edges in the middle where it splits are annoying. Idk if it's a difference in the rubber pads or what. Even if this works for wrist pain, it's not worth it for the palm discomfort.

It’s painful. Not worth it.

I hate it. Period. Very strong feelings about it right out of the box. Gave it a few days, and not only do I still hate it but it’s very painful to use. The rubber material is hard and has pressure points that make you come away feeling like you’ve rested your wrist on the edge of a table for too long. I come away more sore using this than not.
They only have small and large sizes, I think the small is too small for me? (I’m not sure. I can tell it doesn’t fit well, but I can’t tell if it’s because it’s too small or the shape isn’t right for my wrist). In any event, I am sure the large would be too large and even if they had a medium size I still wouldn’t repurchase this.
Maybe if you’ve got some meat on your bones it would be more comfortable but as you can see, I am a very thin person and this is pressing on all the wrong places. I also feel like the center valley part contributes to carpal tunnel pain because the very firm edges of each side rested right in that area, not offering any support to the valley of the wrist, and therefore creating pressure to that nerve center and the ligaments. I don’t know why they chose this material, it’s too firm.
Also, I think a better design would be a little tab from the center of it sticking out and then attaching to the bottom of the mouse so that both mouse and the wrist “support” worked as one unit when moving the mouse around. I often found that I didn’t drag the wrist piece with my mouse well and that it caused even more issues. If it were comfortable I would have made a little tab myself and connected the mouse and the wrist rest together, but as it’s extremely not even remotely comfortable I’m not bothering and I’ve already started the return process.
