Kettingpons IceToolz 24061M1 5~12 speedDeze gepatenteerde IceToolz kettingpons is een professionele kettingpons geschikt voor alle voorkomende derailleurkettingen, of het nu Shimano®, KMC®, Taya® of een ander merk is. De IceToolz kettingpons is voorzien van een beschermklep en een ketting-demontagehulp. De kettingpons heeft een fraai ontwerp en is compact genoeg om altijd mee te nemen. Tevens heeft deze kettingpons een opbergvakje voor de juiste maat missing-link/reserveschakel. Deze IceToolz kettingpons is gemaakt van Cr-Mo kwaliteit staal. Het IceToolz artikelnummer van deze kettingpons is 61M1.
IceToolz professionele kettingpons voor alle kettingen van 5 tot 12 speed IceToolz is een merk dat zich richt op zowel de vakman als de (betere) doe-het-zelver in de fietsbranche. Maar ook de gewone fietser komt in beeld met handige onderhoudsproducten en makkelijke gebruiksartikelen. IceToolz is een merk waar je die dingen kan vinden die je hobby als fietser of sleutelaar of als fietsvakman makkelijker maken. Let op het oranje detail: keus van de vakman.
Deze IceToolz kettingpons is een fraai vormgegeven en complete kettingpons die door de compacte uitvoering bij elke fietsrit meegenomen kan worden. Deze IceToolz kettingpons heeft tevens een ketting-demontagehulp ingebouwd, wat de reparatie aan de ketting een stuk makkelijker maakt. De kettingpons van IceToolz is ook voorzien van een extra beschermkap die het losschieten van de ketting voorkomt. Door de beschermkap op de ketting te drukken tijdens het gebruik van de kettingpons blijft de ketting goed op zijn plaatst liggen. Daardoor zit de pen van de kettingpons ook altijd haaks op de uit te drijven kettingpin, dit voorkomt het afbreken van de pen van de kettingpons. Let erop dat de kettingpons de pin ver genoeg eruit perst om de schakel los te halen, maar niet zover dat de pin ook uit de buitenste schalm uitgedrukt wordt. De ketting kan iets verbogen worden als de kettingpons de pin er (bijna) vergenoeg uitgedrukt heeft.
Cr-Mo staat voor chroom-molybdeen Cr-Mo is de afkorting van chroom molybdeenstaal. Een staalsoort die veel gebruikt wordt bij het maken van gereedschap omdat Cr-Mo de eigenschappen heeft die de kettingpons slagvast maakt en star. Zou jammer zijn als de kracht die wordt uitgeoefend op de kettingpons verloren gaat in het verbuigen van het materiaal. Cr-Mo wordt ook veel gebruikt in de auto s racewagens en motoren waarbij de eisen aan het materiaal hoog zijn.

Unfortunately, this watch was a huge disappointment. Regardless, it was probably worth the price. I just didn’t feel right with it on my wit wrist. I’ll take a Timex any day over this.

Inexpensive, not cheap, with useful added features
Color: A4 - Blue / Black
First impressions:
1. The watch has features unexpected at this price point:
a. Stainless case (claimed) and back
b. Glass, not plastic, crystal
c. Functioning luminosity (duration to be tested) of hands (not seconds) and 5-minute tics
d. Day/date display
e. Clear setting instructions in english
f. Sweep second hand
2. Packaging was not fancy, but effective; watch arrived in perfect shape with no visible defects: Flat cardboard box in cardboard sleeve with embossed logo, fitted foam box liner, plactic film around watch, protective plactic discs on crystal and stainless back.
3. Overnight delivery via Amazon to my front door (much better than USPS)
4. Faux-croc band looks and feels fine for now
5. Setting mechanisms all worked smoothly
6. The black watch is quite handsome, if not elegant, with a simple, understated blue dial and gold markers; the photos in the listing were a faithful representation
7. I measured the case at a fraction of a mm over 39, the max for my small wrists
8. I observed some nits that are to be expected at this price point:
