"I am continually inspired by the natural beauty of the urban oasis that is the marsh at Crissy Field. This painting captures a view from Crissy Marsh at the close of day, looking past the serene waters of the bay towards the distant hills. It reflects the transformative gradients of the night sky, transitioning from a hopeful pink at the horizon to a deep, contemplative blue, mirroring those very colors onto the calm marsh waters below. This scene, inspired by my late afternoon and nightly walks, is a representation of the solace and rejuvenation I find in these moments of solitude. Each sunset, with its spectacular display of colors, reminds me that every ending sets the stage for a new beginning. Especially on days when the weight of the world seems overwhelming, a walk along the bay lifts my spirits, encouraging me to reflect, reset, and look forward to the possibilities of tomorrow.
