Ursolic acid for recomp vibes with banaba for meal partitioning

Blackstone Labs Recomp Rx keeps it simple for body recomp with two non-stim tricks: ursolic acid for physique and muscle signals, and banaba extract for glucose control and nutrient splitting. This isn't a loaded fat burner or pre-workout. It's focused: help you look leaner, use nutrients better around meals, and set up a good vibe for cutting without caffeine, yohimbine, or heat overload.

The main blend is the Fat For Muscle Matrix with 125mg ursolic acid per cap from rosemary and loquat extracts. Folks often run 3 caps a day for 375mg total ursolic acid. That's key because people talk about 150-450mg daily for body comp and muscle keep. Ursolic acid tweaks paths for muscle metabolism, like IGF-1/insulin signals, and might help fat burn and muscle save in early studies. It's not a sure thing in humans, but it's popular in recomp supps for chasing a harder body while holding lean tissue. You won't feel it hit quick – it's more about steady body comp wins when your training and diet are on point.

Banaba leaf extract is 60mg, standardized to 2% corosolic acid, so about 1.2mg corosolic acid per cap. Banaba helps with glucose disposal. Corosolic acid is researched for insulin sensitivity and glucose move, that's why it's in partitioning products. In real life, this ing

BSL Recomp Rx 120ct by Blackstone Labs contains 60mg Banaba leaf extract (Lagerstroemia speciosa) (standardized to 2% corosolic acid), a clinical dose for health and performance.

Key Highlights

  • 125mg ursolic acid per cap – that's the star for recomp action. At 3 caps a day like most folks do, you hit 375mg total, a solid dose matching what people chat about for body comp and keeping muscle.
  • 60mg banaba extract standardized to 2% corosolic acid – there for glucose handling and splitting nutrients right. Key for guys eating planned meals and wanting better carb use in a lean-out or recomp.
  • Made for recomp, no stims – skips the caffeine boost. Instead of hiding tiredness, it hits nutrient use and body signals that fit daily cutting.
  • One-cap servings – easy to pop with meals and scale to 3x daily. That setup helps because sticking with meals lets partitioning work.
  • Ursolic acid from rosemary and loquat extracts – more targeted than basic fat burners loaded with caffeine or synephrine. Gives this a unique spot in your stack.
  • Fits if you're on a stim pre-workout – no stims here, so add it without overloading on energy. Big plus for sleep, blood pressure, or stim tolerance.
  • Prop blend but not totally hidden – label shows 125mg ursolic acid per cap, so you got something real to go on. Better than blends with zero details.
  • For build-up results – not a quick feel thing, and that's the idea. Judge ursolic acid over weeks of training, tracking, and mirror checks, not instant vibes.

BSL Recomp Rx 120ct by Blackstone Labs contains 60mg Banaba leaf extract (Lagerstroemia speciosa) (standardized to 2% corosolic acid), a clinical dose for health and performance.

Who Is This For?

  • Physique folks cutting who want to keep full hard look dropping fat. Fits with ursolic for comp and lean support, banaba for glucose in strict diet.
  • Intermediate lifters in recomp at maintenance cals. For slow tighten without performance dip, better than harsh stims that skip partitioning.
  • Bodybuilders post-bulk easing into lean. Ursolic is draw, especially at 3 caps for discussed recomp range.
  • Guys on coffee or stim pre not wanting more caffeine fat loss. Stim-free layers in without ramping heart, sleep, tolerance.
  • Lifters with multiple carb meals wanting better handling. Banaba with corosolic acid for disposal, fits structured eaters over random.
  • Men and women chasing mirror comp over scale. For leaner denser look, not fast weight drop.

How to Use

Pop Recomp Rx with meals, not as pre. Usual way is 1 cap 3x daily with eats, tying banaba to food and hitting 375mg ursolic daily. If new to partitioning, start 1-2 caps a day for tolerance, then full schedule.

Caps mean no mixing. Food helps since it's for nutrient handling. Stacks good with creatine, whey, stim pre – no caffeine overlap. No need to cycle for stims, but many do 6 weeks on, 2 off per brand. Keep cool and dry, stay consistent even on rest days – it's daily body stuff, not just gym.

What to Expect

First 0-30 mins: no big feel since no stims. With a meal, it's smooth and fits easy. 1-4 hours: no rush like caffeine. It's about nutrient support, not buzz.

Days 1-7: probably no strong vibes, normal for this. Weeks 2-4: judge here with controlled calories, training, protein. Look for cleaner meal feels, fullness hold, leaner hard trend over scale drops. Weeks 4-6: if it clicks, mirror and comp momentum show the build-up value.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much ursolic acid is in Recomp Rx?

Each capsule delivers 125mg ursolic acid from a proprietary rosemary and loquat extract matrix. At the commonly used 3-capsule daily protocol, that totals 375mg ursolic acid per day, which is the more meaningful number for evaluating the formula.

Is Recomp Rx a stimulant fat burner?

No. This formula is stim-free and built around ursolic acid plus banaba extract rather than caffeine, yohimbine, or other thermogenic stimulants. It is meant for recomp support over time, not an immediate energy rush.

What does banaba extract do in this formula?

Banaba is included for glucose disposal and nutrient partitioning support. It is standardized to 2% corosolic acid, a compound studied for helping the body handle carbohydrates and insulin signaling more effectively around meals.

How should I take Recomp Rx for best results?

The most common protocol is 1 capsule with meals, 3 times daily. That approach matches the meal-based role of banaba and brings total ursolic acid intake to 375mg per day.

Will I feel Recomp Rx working right away?

Probably not, and that is normal. This is not a pre-workout or stimulant burner, so the benefits are judged over 2-6 weeks through body-composition trends, how you look in the mirror, and how your diet seems to be partitioning.

Is the formula fully transparent?

Not completely. Banaba is fully disclosed at 60mg, but the rosemary and loquat component is listed inside a 500mg proprietary matrix. The label does disclose the delivered ursolic acid amount, which is helpful, but it is still less transparent than a fully open-label formula.

Can I stack Recomp Rx with a pre-workout?

Yes. Because Recomp Rx is stim-free, it stacks easily with pre-workouts, coffee, creatine, and protein without pushing caffeine intake higher. That makes it useful during a cut when you want body-composition support without more stimulant load.

Is this product better for fat loss or muscle gain?

It is better described as a body-recomposition product. Ursolic acid is included for lean-mass retention and physique support, while banaba helps with meal handling, so the formula makes the most sense when you are trying to get leaner without looking smaller or flatter.

Do I need to cycle Recomp Rx?

It does not require cycling for stimulant-tolerance reasons because there are no stimulants in the formula. However, many users follow the common 6-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off pattern associated with the product.

Is Recomp Rx vegan?

No, the capsule shell contains gelatin. Anyone following a vegetarian or vegan protocol should keep that in mind before ordering.

A bewitching retelling of Arthurian legend!
Format: Kindle
In a land where the Fae have nearly become only a legend and those who still posses even a morsel of the blood are few and far between, Morgan finds herself cast aside by most of society due to her rumored half-Fae lineage, including her brother, King Arthur. With the kingdom at the brink of war, Arthur entrusts her with a quest to retrieve a Fae weapon of legendary power: the sword of Perun, Excalibur. Accompanied by men she loathes, Captain Kairos Draven and Ragnar Whitehorn, she embarks on her long and unbeknownst perilous journey, only to find that things she once believed to be myth are in fact very real. With devastating twists, omitted truths, witty banter and fierce action, Queen of Roses leaves you begging to know more about the secrets of Aercanum! Wow, wow, wow! Going into this story, I did not realize that it was going to be a retelling of Arthurian legend, especially not one with a fantastical twist! The unique spin almost gave me The Witcher vibes and I think adding Fae into the mix was quite interesting. I knew the basics of the legend but after reading this book, it has piqued my interest and makes me want to learn more about it. My attention was snatched as soon as I finished the prologue and I knew that I was going to devour this story. I truly enjoyed the gender swaps and even how Arthur was portrayed as villainous. Morgan’s past and even her parts of her present is absolutely heartbreaking, and I felt for her at times. I can only recall one other book that made me hate characters the way I despised Florian and Arthur, leaving me with my blood boiling and feeling disgusted. Even after finishing the book, Draven is still a mystery to me and I cannot figure out how to feel about him. I guess they just means that the author did an excellent job at conveying each character’s persona! The rich world building and imagery made it easy for me to visualize the places that the group visited along their journey. I am truly engulfed in this story and I cannot wait to see wait fate awaits Morgan and how the Fae will be even more incorporated in the next book!. Enchanting
Format: Kindle
"Queen of Roses" by Briar Boleyn is a delightful and refreshing reimagining of the classic tale of King Arthur, with a captivating twist that places the spotlight on Morgan, a character who has often been overshadowed in traditional retellings. Boleyn's creative decision to shift the narrative perspective to Morgan breathes new life into the story, offering readers an intriguing and compelling look at the Arthurian world from an entirely different angle. One of the most commendable aspects of this book is its incorporation of Fae elements, which adds an enchanting layer of magic and mystery to the already familiar Arthurian setting. Boleyn skillfully weaves the world of the Fae into the narrative, creating a captivating backdrop against which the events of the story unfold. This addition not only adds depth to the world-building but also provides ample opportunities for twists and turns that keep readers thoroughly engrossed. However, while the book boasts numerous strengths, it does have one noticeable flaw: the characterization of Morgan. While it is reasonable to create a flawed and complex protagonist, it appears that at times, Morgan's character becomes overly difficult and hard to relate to. Her persistently negative perception of one of the main male characters, who is a potential love interest, despite his efforts to support and assist her, may come across as somewhat irrational and could test the patience of some readers. Striking a balance between a strong, independent character and one who can recognize genuine support and affection could have enhanced the overall reader experience. Nonetheless, the allure of "Queen of Roses" lies in its innovative approach to the Arthurian legend and its skillful blending of fantasy elements into a familiar narrative. Boleyn's evocative prose draws readers into a world where magic, destiny, and fate entwine, leaving us eager to uncover the mysteries that unfold within the pages. An action-packed dark romantasy
Format: Kindle
I loved this book! Queen of Roses is an Arthurian-inspired dark romantasy that is the first book in the Blood of Fae series. The story follows Morgan, the princess of Camelot who is rumored to be part fae. Fueled by prejudiced hatred and a mistrust of fae blood, Morgan’s abusive father strips her of her birthright and hands it to her half-brother, Arthur. Instead of becoming queen, Morgan is commanded to join the temple of the goddesses when she comes of age. However, Arthur turns into a psychopathic, power-hungry, fae-hating king as he ages. He develops malevolent plans and commands Morgan to find an ancient weapon with legendary power. Although Morgan is wary of Arthur’s intentions, she embraces the opportunity to go on a journey and potentially change her fate. The story picks up from there and we follow Morgan on her quest to find the ancient relic. It’s full of high stakes adventure, mystery, tension, banter, forced proximity, hidden magic, self discovery, and betrayal. This first installment of the series intricately develops the world building and character development. There’s little romance in this book, but it is evident that it is a slow burn that will continue to develop throughout the remainder of the series. Overall, I loved the world building, the epic fantasy, Morgan’s journey of self discovery, and all of the twists and turns that set the stage for the future installments. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.
Format: Kindle
A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

Not a bad start
Format: Kindle
3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.
