HERBAL LYE SOAP LOAVES
Amish Handcrafted in 29 Natural Varieties

Rediscover the age-old purity of traditional soap making with our handcrafted Lye Soap Loaf Bars. Made the old-fashioned way in small batches. Each unsliced loaf weighs just under 3 pounds and yields approximately 10 individual bars, each around 4 oz.

Whether you're looking to stock up your home, share with friends, or slice and sell in your own shop, these loaves deliver rustic charm and practical, nourishing cleanliness.

Hand-cut or whole - your choice. Slice fresh at home to the thickness you prefer, or keep it whole for a rustic display until ready to use. Every bar is a return to tradition, crafted with care by real hands in Lancaster County.

Our herbal lye soaps are no ordinary soaps. They are an Amish handcrafted soap, bringing you all the special qualities that only a handmade soap can. They are made of pure saponified oils. Olive oil for a soft, enriching quality. Palm oil for a rich, smooth lather. Coconut oil for cleansing strength. We then combine these oils with special ingredients like cream butters, herbs, and other high-quality oils for their healing values. Our process is unique and done in small batches. Each bar is then hand cut. Fresh cut bars are cured and air-dried for 3-6 weeks allowing them to harden naturally before use. We hope you enjoy using our soaps as much as we enjoy making them.

An exceptional five stars out of five
Few qualities separate inordinately successful entrepreneurs from the rest of the pack than the ability to innovate. Many have debated whether individuals are born with this quality or whether it can be nurtured. In The Innovator's DNA, Jeff Dyer, Hal Gregersen and Clayton Christensen explain that while genetics play a role, innovation is most certainly a skill that can be learned. In particular, the authors introduce and expound upon five "discovery skills" found in the leaders of some of the most innovative companies in the world: (1) associating, (2) questioning, (3) observing, (4) networking and (5) experimenting. Each discovery skill is accompanied by real-world examples and pragmatic exercises that make the book unusually valuable in an age where copious books on change, leadership and innovation overwhelm the already-overwhelmed executive. I give The Innovator's DNA an exceptional five stars out of five. The authors present a very readable book and provide concrete exercises for developing innovative skills. Using the principles provided in the book, I created a folder on my computer that I call my "Innovation Room." I use this to track progress as I work through various exercises and as I take time to ponder about how to apply innovative solutions to extant problems in Utah. This book was and will continue to be useful to me, and is recommended as a must-read for those interested in adding rare innovative attributes to their arsenal of problem-solving and decision-making skills. *NOTE: The preceding text is taken verbatim from my short book review printed in the June 2012 edition of Utah Business.

It's Ok
It's an ok book and it definitely has some interesting things going on it, but it also has those "ask yourself" these questions if you can be an innovator which is where every human being ponders and talks themselves into having the type of characterisitic the question asks if they have and that makes that human being feel the best about themselves. Bottom line the book has some good info, is it better than say reading the biography of each innovator that they cover (if one is available)....I can't say that it is.

Super informative and easy to read!
Format: Kindle
Fantastic! I didn't expect a book about taxes and financial planning to be a page turner, but it certainly was. I almost dreaded starting it because this topic is such a headache, but I started and then devoured it in a single day. What I really appreciate is that it went into detail where most books about author business just give mealy mouthed generalizations, not specific to any particular country, and then warn you that their non-advice "does not constitute legal advice." Write It Off actually goes into meaningful detail about the different types of business structures in the U.S. and how to decide which is best for you. The section on deductible expenses made me realize that I've been missing an opportunity to write off a significant expense that I hadn't even considered. The section at the end with a list of helpful expense -tracking and budgeting tools was super helpful too. I received an advance review copy for free and am leaving this review voluntarily, but I would definitely recommend this to any creative with a small business. It's not just for authors!
