Built-in External Fins: Built-in external fins transfer heat from the fluid to the outside air for maximum cooling. Magnetic Drain/Fill Plug: This system incorporates a magnetic drain and fill plug that captures loose particles for maximum rear-end protection. OEM is always the answer
No reason not to go OEM for this! Came with every possible gasket and seal I could need. Specifically for my Alpha One Gen 1 it took maybe 25-30 min to completely install.
While you’re there check the base plate for wear and the other surrounding items like your water tube. Rather keep the lower unit off for an extra day to get another part than a catastrophic failure.
