The Capella Story

Back in the day they figured out the Earth isn’t flat - why did it take this long to realize your vest shouldn’t be either? The only vest of its kind with a round cylinder function giving extra rib protection and a seam running diagonally across your back allowing movement that was only previously reached by tree inhabiting primates. One day we sat down wondering how a t-shirt is made since in most cases there is never a seam. Because of that you have a true formed fit wrapping all the way around your body. Yet vests always have a cut line going down the rib cage. An easier way to make a vest for sure, but a rider doesn’t have the same side protection, or the best ergonomically correct fit around their torso. Contoured to your body, flexing with a rider during an aerial assault without any hindrance. Freedom of mobility that was once only harvested from the greatness of those non buoyant impact jackets. Why is it called the Capella vest you ask? Way back when, everybody was saying if you sail in one direction for too long you will fall off the face of the Earth, but Capella and his homies knew otherwise. Smart cats, and we are trying to pick up where they left off with a design of water suspension attire that is meant to be constructed with a round curvature and a truly form fit. So don’t ride in this oversized armhole vest for us. Do it for Capella - a man with a vision of greener pastures that are forced down by the gravitational pull of Mother Nature allowing us all to live in this curved ball. We even spit shined these distinctly different fitting buoyant garments with some extra sexy materials. Changing the way you think about legalized flotation. Trust us, you need to try it on.

A series with every advanced material we could get approved by the Coast Guard. The only vest of its kind with a wraparound cylindrical construction and our proprietary 2 to 1 foam creating more mobility in your mid-section. Designed for a slightly longer torso with more of a slimming athletic fit. If you are on the fence between a Medium or a Large with this series – we recommend sizing up to the Large. Our flagship models and are most uncompromising feel for the rider that wants the most freedom while riding.

 

 

 

 

This series is our most affordable line of jackets approved by the Coast Guard. Designed for a standard or shorter torso with more volume inside. If you are on the fence between a Medium or a Large with this series – we recommend sizing down to the Medium. These jackets are ideal for riders that just prefer a slightly shorter / blockier frame, or somebody that will be wearing their vest while sitting in a boat, on a jet ski etc. Really the ideal series for anybody regardless of their frame that just wants to lounge around while wearing a vest.


 

We came out with the Capella and the Standard at the same time – and we could tell right away that there was a need for a series combing the 2. Designed for a normal fit, torso and materials – not as boxy as our standard series, not as slender as our Capella series, comfortable materials – but not the added extras of the Capella jackets. If you are on the fence between a Medium or a Large with this series – this series will fit the most true to size so then its just personal preference if you would like it to be a little bigger (large) or a little more snug (medium). Our most recent series has quickly had some of our best-selling jackets because of the large spectrum of body types they appeal to.

I’m thoroughly disappointed with the Brother Sublimation Printer and would not recommend it. Out of the box, the setup process was more complex than anticipated, with unclear instructions and frequent errors. The print quality was inconsistent, with colors often coming out dull or inaccurate, despite multiple attempts at calibration. I experienced frequent paper jams, which disrupted my workflow and wasted a lot of materials. The printer’s software is buggy and doesn’t integrate well with other design programs, making it frustrating to use. The connectivity options were unreliable, causing frequent disconnections and delays. Additionally, the printer is quite noisy during operation, which can be distracting and bothersome. The build quality feels flimsy and not as durable as I expected. The customer support experience was also poor, with slow response times and unhelpful solutions. I faced issues with ink usage, as the cartridges seemed to run out quickly, leading to higher operational costs. The sublimation prints didn’t have the sharp, vibrant quality I was hoping for, making my final products look less professional. The lack of clear troubleshooting guides added to the frustration. The printer’s design is bulky and takes up more space than I anticipated. Overall, this Brother Sublimation Printer has been a letdown in terms of performance, reliability, and ease of use. I regret investing in this product and would advise looking for alternatives.

Inkjets have come a long way

Just a lot to like about this printer and nothing I don't like. Very capable for the price. I do mostly black and white printing, rarely print photos. (This will supposedly do a credible job of photo printing too but I haven't tried it). If you want professional caliber photo printing, you probably want the Epson 8550 which is similar to this, a bit more expensive, but does 6 color printing. If you are doing more like every day business printing the 15000 might be a better choice because it's built more for speed. The tank system means I can just replace the black because I use it a lot. The black ink tank is double size of the others and based on my experience so far, I think I'll easily get over a thousand pages on the standard-vivid setting which is very strong black but still relatively high speed printing. Given that the black ink bottles are under $30 I think the cost per page will be comparable to laser. The booklet/pamphlet printing can be complicated to work out with layers of PDF software and the Epson printer driver. But once you work it through, it's super capable. I've printed a lot of 12 x 18 double-sided for booklets and the paper handling has been flawless. (It can duplex automatically for 8 1/2 x 11 but for other sizes you have to manually duplex, which you can do by printing back/front or even/odd.) It's not as fast as a laser printer but it's pretty fast -- inkjets have improved so much.

Nice large format printer which is what I needed

I make stained glass panels and needed a printer that I could make larger copies with. I also wanted one that I could manipulate my images with. This was my best option and I love the Eco-Tank printers. After reading the reviews I made sure to add a couple years of additional warranty for my peace of mind. Finding 13 x 19 paper that was affordable was a tough challenge. I found a bunch on FB marketplace and bought everything they had to offer. This printer was very easy to set-up. I just followed the instructions and then followed what was on my computer screen. At first I thought I would have an issue connecting to Wi-Fi but when it failed on the computer, I was able to go to the printer and do it from the control panel - Easy peesey. I have used it several times since filling, charging, and installing and everything works as it should. My husband has an Eco-Tank printer and I've wanted one since he got his. I love that the ink will last a very long time and that it will be cost efficient. I am not overly interested in photo printing so this was the perfect choice for my needs. The print quality is fairly good when comparing it to my old Canon and e that there are several paper trays and ways to make copies, especially the automatic feed and the larger scanner bed.
