Rosso rubino vivace. Al naso si avvertono profumi di erbe aromatiche e macchia medterranea, note fruttate di frutti scuri, tocchi di pepe nero; in bocca è setoso, equilibrato e persistente.

Il Costa Toscana Cabernet Franc IGP "Altrovino" di Duemani è un blend di merlot e cabernet sauvignon prezioso e avvolgente. Le vigne crescono su un terreno argilloso, salino e ricco di scheletro calcareo; in seguito alla vendemmia, rigorosamente manuale, merlot e cabernet franc fermentano spontaneamente e separatamente in cemento. Dopo un breve passaggio del cabernet franc in anfora, per evidenziarne sentori floreali e fruttati, il vino assemblato affina in legno per circa 8 mesi.

Ottimo con i piatti di terra. Da provare con un brasato o con una chianina per un abbinamento perfetto.
