MicoAir743 V2: Because Your Brain Isn't the Only Thing Overthinking Your Flight

Look, we get it. You’re tired of flight controllers that have the processing power of a 1990s calculator. Enter the MicoAir743 V2. It’s got an STM32H743 processor, which is frankly overkill for your 'expert' hovering, but at least your hardware won't be the bottleneck when you eventually clip a tree branch. Whether you're a hardcore Ardupilot devotee or a Betaflight speed-junkie, this stack is ready to handle your bad decisions with grace.

Why You Want It

Most stacks are content with just 'working.' The MicoAir743 V2 actually wants to be useful. It comes pre-loaded with Ardupilot or PX4, making it the sophisticated choice for people who like to plan missions rather than just 'send it' and hope for the best. And yes, it runs AM32 firmware on the ESCs because BLHeli_32 is so last season. We're in the open-source future now, keep up or get left behind in the tall grass.

Specs

  • MCU: STM32H743VIT6 (Faster than your ability to react to a failsafe)
  • IMU: BMI270 (Smooth as your excuses for why you crashed)
  • ESC Firmware: AM32 (The current king of 32-bit ESC protocols)
  • Current Rating: 55A Continuous (More than enough juice to cook your motors if you're not careful)
  • Mounting: 30.5mm x 30.5mm (Standard, because we aren't savages)
  • Voltage: 3-6S Lipo Support (Wait, you're still on 4S? How retro.)

In the Box

  • 1x MicoAir743 V2 Flight Controller
  • Optional 55A or 70A ESC if you select the stack option.
  • A bunch of cables you’ll probably lose
  • Mounting gummies that will definitely roll under your workbench

Compatibility

Works with Ardupilot, PX4, Betaflight, and INAV. It's basically the polyglot of the FPV world. If you can’t get this to fly, the problem is likely between the goggles and the ground.

Highlights

  • Double the Flash: More storage for logs of your shameful crashes.
  • High-Current ESC: 55A of AM32 goodness for ultra-smooth throttle response.
  • Plug & Play (Mostly): Minimal soldering required, unless you enjoy the smell of leaded fumes in the morning.

Notes

The default firmware depends on what you clicked before checking out. If you messed that up, don't worry—you can flash it yourself. We believe in your ability to follow a YouTube tutorial.

Just What I Needed for My Home Office
Color: Black
I’ve been very happy with this office chair. It was straightforward to assemble, feels sturdy, and offers excellent support for long hours at my desk. The adjustable lumbar support, armrests, and headrest make it easy to customize for a comfortable fit, and the mesh design helps keep the chair breathable throughout the day. Overall, this chair is comfortable, ergonomic, and a great value for a home office setup.

OK for basic Office chair
Color: Black
Positives:Comfortable chair, decent lumbar support. Negatives: no height adjustment for seat or tilt. Handles spin to sides with the slightest touch. Will try to figure out how to securehandles in place. Period good entry level office chair, should have ordered more of an upgraded chair.

Great daily chair
Color: Black, Color: Black
This is a great chair and very comfortable. I'm hard on fabrics and the material is excellent for me. I didn't think I would like the headrest (because I've never had one), however, I enjoy it's use at times. The wheels roll very easily and the seat height is perfect. The seat is easy to keep clean. I've had this chair for 3 months with daily use and it looks brand new. I would buy this chair again.

Cheaply made but functional
Color: Black
Pros: The headrest is highly adjustable. Even if you're tall you'll likely be able to tilt it so that you can rest your head on it while reclining. The instructions for putting it together are easy to follow. It's perfectly serviceable as a desk chair with no glaring defects. The mesh material keeps your body cool and dry even when sitting in it all day. Cons It's obviously very lightweight and cheaply made. This does make the chair easier to move, but this doesn't really feel like a $180 chair at all. More like a $120 or even $100 chair. The chair back is attached to the chair seat by a plastic bracket. Nearly every desk chair I've had in the past has had their back attached to the bottom with a metal bracket, and even those start to bend out of shape after a year or so. While reclining a good portion of your weight will be resting on this plastic bracket, and I simply cannot see this cheap plastic lasting for very long supporting anyone's body weight over a long period of time. If you buy this chair, make sure to get the warranty. The armrests are closer together than on most chairs, which creates a claustrophobic feeling of being squeezed by them. You get used to it eventually, and you can just put the armrests up if you want to, but a way to adjust the armrest width would have been nice. The lumbar support doesn't really do anything at all. It only presses against my back at the most intense setting, and even then not very much. There is no incremental recline setting. Either you are fully reclined, or sitting fully upright. Luckily the full recline setting is about perfect for me, but for a $180 chair you'd expect a bit more settings here.
