Mankind has led the Earth into ruin. Hubris and greed brought forth infernal deals to gain positions of power, and prestige. Reinforced by the acquisition of advanced sciences, humanity has attempted to wield the power of a god and instead caused suffering at catastrophic levels. Each time, man rebuilt, believing that they could correct their mistakes and make the world a better place and each time they failed causing the most tragic consequences imaginable. Nuclear energy, greenhouse emissions, global warming, weapons of mass destruction, and biological warfare all cost millions of lives, but nothing compared to the final disaster that brought the Apocalypse to the planet. Supercomputers and untested science brought man to the next level of destruction. Scientists believed that they could replicate the birth of a black hole by accelerating particles in an enormous device known as a Hadron Super Collider. This multi-mile-long machine was going to unlock the secrets of creation and open the unlimited cosmos to humanity's whim. So quick was man's desire that they never once stopped to consider morality or the consequences of delving into the blackness of space. The result was far from their wildest dreams...or nightmares. A tear in space and time was opened. It was not a black hole but a portal into the nether regions of the blackest hell. Demonic entities released an infernal necrotic virus to cull mankind's herd. Humanity fell by the millions in mere days only...they did not stay dead. Rising back to their feet, the infected corpses continued the abyssal quest to destroy any remnants of survivors. Loved ones, former friends, family, and co-workers were devoured. Humanity has regressed into pockets of scavenging survivors and gang-style bandits. Except for one group...

Descended from the bloodline of the original 300 Spartan warriors that fought at the Hot Gates of Thermopylae against the tyranny of the invading Persian armies, these men and women have been assembled at the Apocalypse Academy from the furthest corners of the world to save the last remnants of mankind from extinction and fight to reclaim the world from the unwavering evil horrors of the walking dead.

Ehh
Color: Black, Color: Black
Eh. I mean, it was warm… but it trapped moisture from me breathing into it, so then it was like wet… which wasn’t ideal. Didn’t stay up on my nose super well. I had to tuck it into my goggles. Easy to wash. Decently soft. Feel like it wasn’t exactly worth the money I spent, but I know it is real wool, so that comes with a price tag. I don’t know…I really didn’t like the water / moisture getting trapped around my mouth and chin and what not. Just causing skin breakout issues. Helped cut the cold wind, but I feel like it could be better, or like there are better options out there maybe. Maybe not meant for snowboarding or exercising, so you’re not breathing as hard into it. Maybe it’s just meant for walking around with it around your neck. I don’t know.

Not very itchy, easy to put in your pocket and warm
Color: Black
I wore turtle fur for a long time and liked it except that it's too big to fit in my pocket. This wool product has really impressed me so far. It doesn't have a zero itch rating but it is very soft. It's surprisingly warm for its weight. Fits easily in my coat pockets. It's comfortable, fits well on both my neck and face as it has some stretch to it. It had a smell when I first opened the package but that went away after a couple of days. I wore it around my neck in 20F and was warm. I would say that using it as a face mask at that temperature would be pushing its limits. I find it to be a good balance between size and warmth for the Kentucky tri-state area in a mild winter. Because of it's size you can easily put a layer over it during extreme cold and it would be well worth the space it takes in your pocket

Too Short
Color: Burgundy
I like the material and construction; it's soft and thick. It is warm and is effective at temperatures in the teens and winds around 30 mph. The thickness of the material helps prevent my breath from instantly condensing and moistening the fabric. I never got the "wet dog" smell wet wool is known for. Its fit is a little tight but not prohibitively so. The color matches that of the beanie. It's too sort to be considered versatile. In wind I had to choose between shielding my neck or my face. I HIGHLY recommend you not machine wash and dry. Hand wash it and let it dry naturally.

Nice for the money
Color: Army Green
Nice but not the most comfortable and came with an interesting smell. I with it was a bit thicker but the build quality is nice and it does look nice. For the price, I'd buy again. I use it primarily for skiing.
