Pro-Tip: Setup is everything with one-piece bits. Start by centering the profile on your stock thickness. Once you have made the profile cuts (stiles) on all your pieces, do not move the fence. Simply raise the bit height to align the cope cutter for the rail ends. Use a "coping sled" to safely guide the narrow rail ends past the cutter to prevent blowout and keep your fingers safe.
