This motor pod kit is designed for the Aero-naut Lilienthal 40 glider; but could be retrofitted to a similar plane by the adventurous builder. This kit includes everything you need to build the power pod. Motor, folding propeller, nose cone, ESC and laser cut wood for the pylon. All of the wires are cut to length with connectors already installed, no soldering necessary.
The design is low drag. The folding propeller folds back when not in use and the provided propeller stop prevents the blades from folding too far back. The motor wires are contained within the structure, keeping them out of the wind stream.
The included instruction manual is comprehensive and written in English, French and German.
