Following the launch of the ‘Infinito’ series, adidas has graced us once again with another addition to Messi’s expansive footwear legacy. Say hello to the X Crazyfast Messi ‘Las Estrellas’, an homage to his recent 2022 World Cup conquest with Argentina.
Drawing From The Past
This latest iteration takes cues from Messi’s memorable 2022 World Cup boots, aptly named ‘Leyenda’. Echoing the colors of Argentina’s flag, the ‘Las Estrellas’ (“The Stars” in English) proudly sports a Cloud White/Pulse Blue/Gold Metallic colorway. Its design, however, isn’t just for aesthetics. Three stars prominently embellish the boots, representing Argentina’s treble World Cup victories in 1978, 1986, and, of course, 2022. Fans and followers can also find unique touches including Messi’s emblem, the number 10, and the G.O.A.T insignia on the heel, a nod to the unending debate about his standing in football’s pantheon.
From ‘Infinito’ to ‘Las Estrellas’
