Artist Lisa Lichtenfels is acclaimed for pushing the boundaries of fabric sculpture. Photographs of Ms. Lichtenfels sculptures whether they be fantasy creatures, depictions of denizens of foreign cultures or portraits of celebrities such as Bette Midler, Barbra Streisand and Demi Moore are often mistaken for photos of living beings.
