Pro-Tip
When adjusting the shims for your panel groove, always aim for a "snug-but-sliding" fit. Panels should be able to expand and contract with seasonal humidity changes. If you are using plywood panels that are slightly undersized, use the included shims to tighten the groove to prevent the panel from rattling. For the best finish, always mill your end-grain rail cuts first using a coping sled to ensure the stock remains square and the cut stays safe and clean.
