Product Description

This is a beautiful white cotton dhoti that stands out from all other plain dhotis because of its rich and colourful woven border. The body of the dhoti is white with a wide olive green stripe running along the length with gold lines on both sides — giving it a grand two-tone look even before you see the border.

The border is the real highlight of this dhoti. It has multiple coloured bands woven together. A deep purple band with gold zari floral designs, a bright blue band with large gold elephant and temple motifs, and a red and orange band with fine geometric patterns.

All these bands are separated by gold zari lines, giving the border a very rich, festive, and temple-style look. This kind of border is inspired by the famous South Indian weaving tradition and looks truly grand at weddings and religious ceremonies.

Made from pure soft cotton. This dhoti is light and comfortable to wear all day. The fine weave of the fabric makes it breathable and easy to drape. Despite its grand-looking border, the dhoti itself is light on the body and does not feel heavy or stiff.
