The Snugpak Dri-Sak with Air Valve is a more versatile variation of the original Snugpak Dri-Sak. This Dri-Sak offers a completely waterproof storage option for your sleeping bag, clothing, or other gear that you want to keep dry. Dri-Saks are made with lightweight, durable nylon to endure the stress of compressing items without tearing. The fabric is 100% waterproof, and will also keep out sand, dust, and snow with ease. The Snugpak Dri-Sak with Air Valve was designed to prevent water from damaging your equipment; roll the reinforced hem down at least 3 times before closing with the buckle. Expel as much air as possible to compress your gear and reduce the pack size, then reseal the valve. Storing items with sharp edges could damage the inner face of the material. You can also use the Dri-Sak to separate your dirty or wet gear from your clean or dry gear. The Dri-Sak with Air Valve is not designed to be submerged underwater for extended periods of time but will ensure the protection of your gear if it takes an unexpected dive into water or inclement weather. The Snugpak Dri-Sak with Air Valve is an excellent storage option for gear that you want to remain dry during ventures and expeditions. Perfect for Bread
Size: 2-Quart
I bought this to make the bread in the book "Bittman Bread" by Mark Bittman and Kerri Conan, which I also bought here on Amazon. This Dutch Oven has been working perfectly for the last 6 months of baking. As a bonus, it's much less expensive that the same size Lodge pot. I've got a 5-1/2 quart regular and a 7-1/2 quart enameled both from Lodge and use them all the time for stuff, but I only use this 2 qt for the bread, usually more than once a week. It's great.
Look up that "Bittman Bread" book and buy it from Amazon (I don't think you can insert links in the review), then definitely buy this Dutch Oven. I highly recommend both.

Excellent Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven

This Dutch oven has quickly become my favorite piece of cookware in the kitchen. The enamel coating makes cleanup surprisingly easy, even after slow-cooked meals. It heats evenly and keeps food warm for a long time after cooking. I’ve used it for soups, roasts, pasta dishes, and homemade bread with amazing results every time. The red color is beautiful and looks great sitting on the stovetop. It feels heavy and durable without being impossible to handle. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a high-quality and versatile cooking pot.

Great for baking bread

Great quality for a good price. I use this to bake sourdough loaves and it performs superbly! I love the little handle potholders they are the perfect size and provide good protection from the very hot pot. Beautiful color but practical and useful.

Worth the purchase

This is my new favorite kitchen purchase. Soups, dips, rice... It all cooks so evenly and beautifully. It cleans so easily with a rag (not using anything abrasive). I am putting about a tablespoon of oil in the pot after cleaning and using and rubbing into the pan to get it seasoned. I would absolutely recommend this purchase. It's beautiful and functional
