VERSA is a quad, multi-mode Audio and Control Voltage VCA. Using all discrete analog VCAs and crafty signal routing, each of the VERSA's four channels can perform the following voltage controlled operations:
- Bipolar offset generation +/-5V
- Crossfading between an external signal and +5V or -5V
- Linear crossfading of two external signals
- 4-Quadrant Multiplication/Polarization/Ring Modulation
- 2 Input, 1 Output VCA switch
- Standard VCA
VERSA is DC-coupled - suiting use for both Audio and Control Voltages.
4-Quadrant Multiplier mode features an ample 'dead zone' to insure zero signal bleed when full attenuation is desired.
An additional four signal output buss' offer the following mixed signal functionality;
- Analog OR (MAXIMUM)
- Analog AND (MINIMUM)
- Fold-Back Limit Distortion (DIST)
- Full scale MIX of all channels
A handy switch is provided for each channel to add or remove a signal from the buss outputs.
