La comprensión cabal de este mensaje de salvación tuvo sus tropiezos a lo largo de toda la historia posterior. Lo hecho y dicho por Jesús a las mujeres necesitó de veinte siglos para ser comprendido de manera íntegra tanto dentro como fuera de la Iglesia. En este libro la autora quiso mostrar esa historia oculta, a veces también ocultada, sobre las mujeres y su estar en el mundo y en la historia.
