There’s something exciting and mysterious about exploring deeper dive sites while scuba diving, now that you have completed your Advanced Open Water Diver Course, you will naturally want to dive deeper and explore new areas.
Sometimes it’s a wreck that attracts you below 30 metres, like the incredible wrecks of Truk Lagoon, or the SS President Coolidge. Whatever it is, to scuba dive with confidence at depths down to 40 metres, you should take the Deep Diver Specialty course.
Our Deep diver courses takes you from Advanced Open Water Diver and allows you to dive deeper and explore more enticing dive sites.
On the Deep Diver course we will continue on from where your Advanced Open Water course left off and you will complete 2 more deep dives from a boat where you will refine your skills even further.
These dives generally take place on the exHMAS Brisbane so you will get the chance to explore the wreck and some of the incredible marine life that has come to call it home!
Diving with Nitrox/Enriched Air gives you more no decompression time, which is especially beneficial for repetitive diving. If staying down longer and getting back in the water quicker between dives sounds appealing, then check out our Nitrox Course
Prerequisites:
- Be at least 15 years of age
- Hold SSI Advanced Open Water Diver certification
What's included:

- 1 x Double boat dives
- Hire of Tanks and Weights
What's not included:
- Transport
- Mask Snorkel, Boots and Fins (These are not available for hire)
Please note: Any additional dives required due to not meeting performance requirements will be at your additional expense, this includes not diving due to seasickness or similar.
