Brodies Earl Grey Loose Tea

Brodies has been blending tea in Scotland since 1867 and their Earl Grey is built on a Chinese black tea base scented with natural bergamot oil - the fragrant citrus extract from Italian bergamot oranges that gives Earl Grey its signature character. The Chinese base keeps the cup smooth and light, letting the bergamot do its work without a heavy malty foundation underneath it.

Elegant, aromatic, and refreshing. The bergamot is present but not aggressive - it lifts the cup rather than overwhelming it. Works well black, with milk, or with a slice of lemon for an extra citrus hit. Fairtrade certified.
