Orvis Long-Sleeved Open Air Caster Shirt - Neptune Blue — A Cooler, Lighter Update to a Favorite Fishing Shirt

The Orvis Long-Sleeved Open Air Caster is an update to a popular fishing shirt, keeping everything anglers loved about it and making it lighter, softer, and cooler. It pairs UPF 40 sun protection with a new eco-conscious stretch fabric and strategic ventilation, built for long, hot days on the water. This is the Neptune Blue colorway in a Regular length.

The fabric is the heart of the update. The Open Air Caster uses thermoregulating MarinoWul+, made with recycled plastic bottles and crushed oyster shells for earth-friendly performance. It is quick-drying and incredibly lightweight, with a textured weave that lifts up off the skin without clinging for a cool feel, and stretch in the blend that moves with you. OutSmart Fresh odor control keeps the shirt fresh through extended wear and cuts down on laundry.

Airflow is built in. Low-profile ventilation is placed exactly where it is needed, at the back shoulders, arm holes, and chest, for effective cooling. UPF 40 protection is backed by an extended collar stand that shields the back of the neck and slightly articulated cuffs that cover the backs of the hands.

The details are tuned for fishing. Roll-tab long sleeves convert to short when the day heats up. Two drop-in front pockets keep small essentials handy, with a hidden bungee keeper in the right pocket for tools or sunglasses, and a zippered chest pocket adds secure storage. It is finished with a concealed button-down collar that lays flat in the wind, button-adjustable cuffs, a hidden sunglasses cleaner in the hem, and an Active Fit.

Drama Free For Sure!
Format: Kindle
Nedra Glover Tawwab is a New York Times bestselling author, a licensed therapist, and a sought-after relationship expert. This book is a therapeutic and educational tool that addresses how to consciously change behaviors you’d rather not have in relationships, specifically, around your family. For those of us who have delved into the self-help book world, this is an in-depth, thorough refresher, focusing on family dynamics. Nedra’s core belief is that relationships contribute to mental health. They can cause you pain or they heal you. She focuses on taking your relationships seriously and teaches the art of having tough but intentional conversations to create positive change. OR you’ll learn how to sever ties when the relationship is unmanageable. None is more influential than the formative years we’ve had with our family of origin. A lot of people lament that not everything is about the family, but yup, so often it’s true. In childhood, most likely we weren’t allowed to be ourselves, so our true selves started to develop when becoming an adult. Like a butterfly using its colossal strength to break out of its chrysalis, we too must use our emotional colossal strength to break out of our childhood mold in order to fly. We are able to have relationships with family on our terms.

Insightful and Compassionate.
Format: Hardcover
I really love Nedra Glover Tawwab's work. I started with "Set Boundaries, Find Peace" and that opened the gateway to a broader and more helpful healing journey for me. This book, "Drama Fee" was just an evolutionary step in her series and a more in depth dealing with family relationships. The different perspectives for each chapter on how the concept can be applied was/is helpful as it often feels like books of this nature are only telling the black or white way to focus on a relationship. I felt seen and heard that though my familial relationships are unique there are commonalities and in turn ways to approach healing, reconciliation (with oneself and with family), understanding and compassion, to a achieve drama free relationships. As humans we are bread for connection and I appreciate Nedra Glover Tawwab's help in navigating them.
