Carli 3.25" SPEC Backcountry Suspension System 19-25 Ram 3500 6.7L CumminsThe Carli Backcountry system can best be described as being built for truck owners who "use their truck as a truck." The Carli Backcountry system can best be described as being built for truck owners who "use their truck as a truck." So, what does this mean? The Backcountry is ideal for those who daily drive, tow, plus like to hit some trails on the weekends, but aren't looking to see daylight under the tires out in the dunes. The benefit of the Backcountry over the Commuter series is the remote reservoir that not only LOOKS cool but also allows the shock to maintain its temperature, meaning you won't experience shock fade when on rough surfaces for any extended period, as a traditional IFP shock will tend to do.

The Backcountry 2.0 system is designed for people seeking the best ride on and off-road on a budget; perfect for those who want to have a little dirt-road fun in their 8,500lb truck without losing the on-road ride quality or usability for which the truck was designed. You're no longer limited to the highway while gravel roads become uninteresting as you can drive them at speed with one hand on the wheel. The remote reservoir Carli SPEC 2.0 boasts 6063 Aluminum construction, an anodized body for corrosion resistance, a 5/8″ hardened steel chrome plated shaft, full serviceability & rebuildability, and is built with 1-piece bushings in the 6061 billet rod-ends. These shocks are spec’d with a premium 5WT oil to balance lubricity, consistent damping, and the widest available range in temperature variation.

SWAY BAR OPTIONS

When pairing added down-travel with the taller ride height, the position of the factory, front sway bar will need to be altered as well. For this, you have two options; Billet Sway Bar Drop Brackets or the replacement Torsion Sway Bar. The Billet Drop Blocks shift the sway bar down and forward to ensure the factory end links cycle properly throughout the entire extended travel range. Carli's optional Torsion Sway Bar removes the entire factory sway bar assembly replacing it with a torsion bar supported by fabricated drop brackets and delrin bushings. Fabricated sway bar arms and dual 5/8" FK heim end links round off the package. This is the single best bang for the buck, ride-quality upgrade offered by Carli Suspension.

SWAY BAR DROP BRACKET SPECIFICATIONS:
  • In-house machined billet aluminum
  • Hard-anodized for corrosion resistance
  • Correct factory sway bar geometry on the 3" lift
TORSION SWAY BAR SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Easily the best bang for the buck upgrade for ride quality
  • Allows front suspension to move freely without giving up control
  • Requires removal of electronic sway bar on Power Wagons
  • Compatible with 0-4" front lift
  • Torsion Bar may be black or silver zinc; depends on supply-chain availability. NOT requestable.

REAR LEAF SPRING OPTIONS

Your truck will sit 3"-3.5" higher in the front (cab configuration dependent) with 50% more suspension travel than the factory platform thanks to the taller, lighter rate coil springs. The rear is lifted 2-3" via either Carli's Progressive Rate Add-A-Pack & Billet Block or Carli's Full Replacement Progressive Leaf Springs.

REAR LEAF SPRING ADD-A-PACK SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Replaces lower overload spring
  • More predictability and spring progression keeps tires planted
  • 1" lift matches to our 3" front systems
  • Includes U-bolts and Center Pins
  • Will NOT fit 2013-2024 Ram 3500 with Factory Air-Assist
FULL PROGRESSIVE LEAF SPRING KIT SPECIFICATIONS:
  • 2" rear lift maintains slight rear-height stance with Carli 3" Systems
  • Softens initial spring rate at ride height
  • Minimizes axle wrap / wheel hop
  • Reduces payload to light 3/4-ton capacity
  • Capable of 15" of suspension travel with factory shackle
  • Will NOT fit trucks that have factory air-assist

When lifting the front end of a straight-axle truck, the front axle is pulled off-center unless the proper linkages are addressed. Three inches of front lift equates to an axle shifted toward the driver's side 3/4" and, in the radius arm equipped Rams, lightened caster and slight rearward axle shift. This system includes an Adjustable Track Bar to push the axle back toward the passenger side and provide a stronger link with less deflection for the lifted application. Also included are Radius Arm Drop Brackets to recenter your caster adjustment and shift the axle forward to its new center of travel.

Everything is included to support the flawless operation of all components. You will receive bump stop drops to ensure the shocks are cycling in their designed travel range as well as a rear track bar drop bracket minimizing the rear end "wag" associated with opposing track bar suspension designs.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

LEAF SPRING SHACKLE
  • The 3500 has been described as having a "jarring" ride. Some of that can be attributed to the factory's vulcanized bushings in the leaf spring pack and shackle. It's very strong, but gives little in the terms of comfort. The Carli fabricated shackle is built from 1/4" cold-rolled American steel. The mid-length design of the gusset prevents deflection, while the serviceable bushings are much more comfortable and superior to the factory bushings.
LOW MOUNT STEERING STABILIZER
  • Certain tires, mainly in lifted off road applications have a terrible habit of pulling to one side. With the added Low Mount stablizer, you have complete control over how passive or agressive your front end can be. Ranging from 70-200 psi of counter pressure to the inherent pull of an aftermarket setup, pair this with the High Mount as well, and you'll have every bit of adjustment you need to make your truck ride safe, reliable and comfortable.
HIGH MOUNT STEERING STABILIZER
  • Recommended for those running 37" or greater. Pair with the lower stabilizer to counter pull experienced from those beefy offroad tires you're rolling on. Adjustable from 70-200 psi, there's plenty of room for ride quality improvements in your truck.
FABRICATED RADIUS ARM OPTION
  • As icing on the cake, these arms add Limit Strap Protection for your Front Shocks, 1/4" Boxed Steel Construction, Serviceable 17-4 Stainless Spherical Bearings and maintain the factory caster adjustment.

WHEEL AND TIRE FITMENT

This system will fit up to a 37" tire when utilizing wheels that are no more than 9" wide with 5.75-6" of backspacing. A 12.5" wide should fit with no rubbing on the factory radius arm and only minor trimming required, while a 13.5" will require more trimming and slightly more offset to fit properly. 35" tires will fit with VERY minimal if any trimming. Carli recommends running an 18" diameter wheel for optimal ride quality (more rubber = better small bump compliance) on a 35"-37" E-rated tire running 45psi front, 40psi rear when unloaded.

CARLI TESTED

After a great deal of test runs with various weights loaded in the bed of Carli test truck, it was quickly determined that the factory payload was nearly untouched, given all of the updates Carli had made to the rear of the truck.

What would a Carli kit be if it weren't getting absolutely filthy out in the dirt or getting the shocks up to temperature? In true form, Carli made absolutely sure the truck could also perform offroad by making numerous trips to the deserts of Barstow, El Cajon and Phoenix to really confirm how the new packages worked. The conclusion? These trucks can boogie just like the previous years!

Works great but the angle for the bracket screws seems hard for me
The AMADA HOMEFURNISHING Floating Shelves are a great addition to any home decor. They are easy to install and come with all necessary hardware included. The shelves are made of solid Paulownia wood and have industrial triangle metal brackets that give them a rustic and contemporary style, which is perfect for any design style. One of the best features of these shelves is their size. With a width of 16.4 inches, they are wider and longer than regular shelves, providing more room for storage. The shelves are sturdy enough to hold up to 40lbs, making them perfect for organizing books, collectibles, plants, and trophies on the wall without occupying floor space. The shelves are available in six different colors, including Grey, Rustic Brown, Black, Brown, White, and Wood, so you can choose the one that best fits your decor. Good shelves!
Easy enough to assemble and as shown in the pictures you can shape the shelves how you want them. There is one screw hole in the mounting bracket right in the narrow part which makes it difficult to get a screw into. To get around this I just put a screw in at an angle. The quality is decent and I would not overload these by any means. However, if you are looking for cheaper shelves that look decent for light items these will work great.

Great shelves for the price (~$15), but could be better.
Unlike many others here reviewing the item, I took note of the dimensions & the rough surface of the wood *before* purchasing it & read the instructions that tells you how NOT to assemble it. So my review won't be mentioning how it was smaller than I expected, how unexpectedly rough the wood was, or the fact that it fell off my wall because I didn't read the instructions. About how NOT to install it- never screw into the board such that the weight is relying on the *screws* to keep it up. Whichever way you place the brackets in relation to the wood, above or below, make sure the weight is ON THE BRACKETS. In other words, *never* screw in from THE TOP OF the shelf. The instructions specifically point this out, so if you see any reviews about the screws stripping out of the wood and the thing crashing to the floor-- they didn't read the instructions and they assembled it incorrectly. And no, unlike what some reviews here are telling you, it is not painted plastic. It is wood. I sanded it, it's wood. They tell you that in the description of the item, too. Paulownia, but yes, the weight of it reminds you of styrofoam, which isn't a bad thing. Ive read its a sturdy wood, relative to how much it weighs. I was already expecting rough boards when I bought it, but on top of that fact the surface had the grossest hand-feel I've ever felt (probably from the surface + the paint they used) that I ended up lightly sanding it with 120 grit (which helped a ton with the feel while also doing very little to the painted surface) and painted it with some white paint that we had on hand (it was originally grey). Much better. The brackets getting in the way of screwing is awful because I don't have a 90° angle screwdriver, but it worked out alright enough. The resulting angle wasn't severe by any means, but still I recommend making sure you have a 90° angle screwdriver before purchasing because I'd much rather it be nice, clean, flush screws. One point of serious suggestion for the seller would be that the brackets need more than a quick dot of welding. Even though my brackets came relatively even and all with unbroken welding, judging from other reviews and looking at mine, this is an area that could definitely do with some improvement. Another suggestion for the seller would be to include a few extra drywall anchors. I ended up breaking three of them trying to get them in my drywall and now I have to go find some replacements. I think our drywall is about as petrified as our studs because in looking up external sources for the best method of installing these types of anchors (to make sure I wouldn't break any. smh) they recommend to NOT predrill, as these are made with no predrilling in mind. However, when trying to initially gently hammer them in with my rubber mallet as the instructions stated, they just weren't penetrating the drywall very far and I even made sure to pierce the paint layer (which is recommended if your walls have a thick layer of paint from over the years). I actually ended up quite extensively drilling in order to get the first portion of the anchors (before the threads) into the wall without doing too much damage to the anchors. Ive gotten two of the three shelves up but can't get the last one up until I get more drywall anchors. So far so good. Lightly hand sanded and a couple coats of paint slapped on them and I quite like them. Definitely takes a lot of time installing them though, so expect that before going into it. Rated 3 stars for the gross hand-feel, the brackets needing more welding, the brackets that could've been more even with each other, the lack of warning that you'd need a 90° angle screwdriver, and the lack of backup drywall anchors.
