Петро Лущик (нар. 1963 р.) — український письменник, автор історичних романів, лауреат літературного конкурсу 'Коронація слова'. Після закінчення фізичного факультету Львівського університету ім. Івана Франка працює вчителем, поєднуючи педагогічний досвід із літературною майстерністю.

Сьома й восьма книги 'Галицької саги' охоплюють останні роки Другої світової війни та шлях до незалежності України. У 'Часі нескорених' галичани остаточно втрачають ілюзії: хтось вступає до дивізії 'Галичина', інші — до УПА. Одні гинуть у 'бродівському котлі', інших чекає боротьба з новим ворогом — радянською владою. У романі 'Серпень дев’яносто першого' ми прощаємося з Перетином. Майже всі чоловіки знайшли свою смерть у лісі за селом, а ті, хто вижив у цій м’ясорубці, опинилися в далекому Сибіру. Улітку 1991 року учні місцевої школи випадково натрапляють на давно загублену могилу вояків УПА. На перепоховання героїв до відродженого Перетина збираються ті, хто покинув його ще в сорокові роки.
