Feeding Guide:
FeedRite BreedRite Mix should normally be fed at following approximate rates in conjunction with good quality roughages (e.g. lucerne chaff or hay, cereal chaff, oaten hay, pasture or meadow hay):

Dry Mares 2kg to 3kg
Early Pregnant Mares 2kg to 4kg
Late Pregnant Mares 3kg to 5kg
Lactating Mares 4kg to 6kg
Weanlings from 4 to 6 months of age 2kg to 3kg
Weanlings from 6 months to 12 months 2.5kg to 3kg
Yearlings 3kg to 4kg
Working Stallions 4kg to 5kg
- Introduce FeedRite BreedRite Mix gradually over a one to two-week period.
- Adjust feed allowance according to body condition and workload.
- Ensure your horse receives adequate amounts of roughage (an amount of dry roughage equivalents to at least 1% or more of the horse’s bodyweight should be fed daily).
- Make sure your horse has access to fresh clean water.
- Do not supplement your horse’s diet with extra trace minerals, such as selenium, unless instructed to do so by a veterinarian or equine nutritionist.
