It replaces the egr valve and eliminates the obstruction it causes in the induction manifold . This allows the cooler air from the intercooler to flow freely through the induction manifold which helps to improve response, performance and fuel consumption.
*This replacement allows the electronic half of the egr valve (that fits outside the manifold) to be refitted and operate normally to avoid engine management lights.
