With the Base Plate, you can cut through many different materials, including burlap, craft plastic, craft metal, fabric, aluminum, canvas, lightweight suede and thin cork. The Precision Base Plate allows most intricate Thinlits dies to be cut in a single pass through the machine.

(Please note: Do not use with Big Shot Foldaway or Big Shot Plus Machines – this will result in reduced cutting pad and die life. Also do NOT use the Precision Base Plate with steel-rule dies as damage may occur.)
