Also known by its botanical name Ratibida pinnata, this drought tolerant coneflower is a hardy perennial that performs well in poor or sandy soils and is perfect for naturalizing in restoration areas or wildflower borders. Its deep root system not only helps it survive dry spells, but also contributes to soil stabilization in prairie ecosystems.
