6g Citrulline, AlphaSize® Focus, Moderate-Stim Bucked Up Energy

Bucked Up Muscle RUB is basically a moderate-stim pre-workout that boosts blood flow, energy, and focus during training. The setup is simple and it works. No hiding doses in a prop blend – everything's listed out so you can see what's really in it. The main players are 6,000mg citrulline malate for pumps and flow, 200mg caffeine anhydrous for quick energy, 200mg AlphaSize® for sharp focus, and 2,000mg beta-alanine to fight fatigue over time.

The big win is that 6g citrulline malate. Your body turns citrulline into arginine, which ramps up nitric oxide. Nitric oxide widens blood vessels, so more blood gets to your muscles. You'll notice fuller pumps, better oxygen delivery, and less of that flat feeling halfway through your workout. At 6g, it's a dose that actually delivers for experienced users.

Beta-alanine at 2,000mg is solid, but it's not the full research dose alone. Studies show 3.2-6.4g daily works best by boosting carnosine in muscles. Carnosine fights the acid buildup that causes burn during intense reps, helping you push longer. 2g helps build toward that, but for max results, you'd want more from food or another supp with consistent use.

Caffeine anhydrous at 200mg keeps it in the moderate-stim zone. It's enough to wake you up, cut how hard the workout feels, and amp your drive without

Key Highlights

  • 6,000mg Citrulline Malate – this is the star here and a real reason to grab it. At this level, you'll feel the vasodilation kick in with stronger pumps and better blood flow to muscles, way better than those weak 2-3g doses that don't do much.
  • 200mg Caffeine Anhydrous – a solid mid-level stim hit that ramps up alertness, motivation, and how intense your workout feels, without jumping into crash territory. For a lot of folks, this is the perfect balance – not too weak, not overkill.
  • 200mg AlphaSize® – this trademarked alpha-GPC from Chemi Nutra adds a smart edge for focus and neuromuscular vibes. You'll notice cleaner concentration and better connection to your reps, not just random jitters.
  • 2,000mg Beta-Alanine – not a full clinical dose by itself, but still useful if you take it regularly. It's the key to building carnosine in muscles, which buffers that burn during back-to-back high-intensity sets.
  • No Proprietary Blend – everything's out in the open with doses listed. That's huge because you can check it against real research instead of trusting some mystery mix.
  • 100mcg Vitamin B12 as Methylcobalamin – they went with the good methyl form, not cheap stuff. You won't feel it right away, but it helps with energy metabolism and fits the overall workout support.
  • 100mg Himalayan Rock Salt – a nice touch for pump and staying hydrated. Sodium keeps fluids balanced and muscles working, especially when you're sweating hard – even a bit helps the pre-workout hit better.
  • Taurine Included for Cellular Support – taurine helps with fluid regulation and calcium signals in muscles and heart. At 100mg it's light compared to studies, but it ties into the hydration and performance angle.

Who Is This For?

  • Intermediate bodybuilders on high-volume push/pull/legs who dig pump and muscle feel as much as energy. 6g citrulline malate boosts flow for hypertrophy, 200mg AlphaSize® sharpens connection in controlled reps.
  • Lifters wanting real pre-workout kick without extreme stims. 200mg caffeine feels performance-ready but chill for consistent trainers avoiding the overamped high of 350mg+.
  • Cross-trainers in intervals, sleds, circuits, or finishers where fatigue stacks up. Beta-alanine aids carnosine for buffering, caffeine drops perceived effort when it hurts.
  • Morning or midday gym rats needing energy and drive but normal life after. Gives solid stim push with AlphaSize® nootropic help over pure caffeine.
  • Bucked Up fans after the complete formula, not stripped ones missing methylcobalamin B12, AlphaSize®, Himalayan rock salt, and deer antler velvet extract. If full label matters, this is it.
  • Athletes tired of weak pump supps with big talk. 6,000mg citrulline malate is the real deal for noticeable gym pumps and flow.

How to Use

Take one serving 20-30 minutes pre-training for best timing. New to pre-workouts, stim-sensitive, or back after layoff? Start half to check tolerance on that 200mg caffeine. Shake it in cold water – more water mellows flavor and makes it easy to down fast. Empty stomach speeds up the feel, but light food smooths if stims spike you. Don't mix with other stim heavies unless tracking caffeine from coffee, drinks, or burners. Stacks great with creatine and protein since those aren't maxed here. Daily use boosts beta-alanine – carnosine needs consistency. No forced cycles, but stim breaks keep sensitivity fresh. Store cool, dry, sealed.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: not much yet, just the mental boost of taking it and starting warm-ups. Minutes 10-20: 200mg caffeine usually hits with better alertness and mindset; some get beta-alanine tingles early. Minutes 20-40: prime time – caffeine, AlphaSize®, and citrulline team up for sharp focus and full pumps as intensity builds. Minutes 40-90: it sustains steady, holding up the session's middle and end without early peaks. Days 1-7: acute stuff like energy and flow hits first. Weeks 2-4: regular use builds beta-alanine's carnosine edge, but 2g is more support than full load alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Bucked Up | Muscle RUB?

Each full serving provides 200mg caffeine anhydrous. That places it in the moderate-stim range: enough to feel distinctly performance-oriented for most users, but not in the ultra-high-stim territory of 300-400mg pre-workouts.

Is the 6,000mg citrulline malate dose actually strong enough to notice?

Yes. Six grams is a serious dose for a pre-workout pump ingredient and is one of the strongest parts of this formula. Citrulline supports nitric oxide production through the arginine pathway, which is why users typically notice better pumps, improved blood flow, and less flatness during training.

Is the 2,000mg beta-alanine dose clinically dosed?

Not fully on its own. The research-backed daily range is usually 3,200-6,400mg, so 2g is best described as a supportive partial dose. It can still contribute over time, but users wanting fully research-aligned carnosine loading would need additional daily beta-alanine from another source or a broader stack.

What does AlphaSize® do in this formula?

AlphaSize® is a trademarked alpha-GPC ingredient used to support focus, attention, and neuromuscular signaling through acetylcholine-related pathways. In practical terms, it helps make the energy from caffeine feel more directed and training-specific rather than just stimulatory.

Is this better for pump or for energy?

It does both, but the formula’s biggest strength is the combination of meaningful pump support and moderate energy. The 6g citrulline malate is the physical-performance anchor, while 200mg caffeine and 200mg AlphaSize® provide the mental and stimulant side.

Can I stack this with creatine?

Yes, and that is one of the smartest ways to round out the formula. This product covers pump, energy, and focus well, while standalone creatine monohydrate adds the well-established phosphocreatine and ATP regeneration support that is not built into this label.

Will this make me tingle?

Possibly. Beta-alanine can produce a harmless tingling sensation called paresthesia, especially when taken on a relatively empty stomach. At 2,000mg, some users will notice it and others will not, depending on sensitivity.

Is this a good beginner pre-workout?

It can be, but not as a blind full-serving first use. Because it contains 200mg caffeine and multiple active performance ingredients, beginners should start with a half serving to assess tolerance before deciding whether the full amount is appropriate.

How does this compare to the retailer version mentioned in the competitive data?

The competitive landscape indicates that some retailer listings use a different formula missing Vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin, AlphaSize®, Himalayan pink salt, and deer antler velvet extract. This version is the more complete formula and gives you the full focus-support and brand-signature profile intended by the label provided here.

Should I take Bucked Up | Muscle RUB every day or only on workout days?

For acute effects like energy and pump, workout-day use is enough. For ingredients with cumulative benefits, especially beta-alanine, daily use is better because muscle carnosine loading depends on consistency rather than only taking it before training.

Not a bad start

3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Fallen Angels, fae, vampires, oh my!
Format: Kindle
Rating: 4.5 | Spice: 2 (but a good slow-burn) • Main Characters: Huntyr and Wolf • I couldn’t wait to read this book; there was so much hype about it! And there was no doubt why. I fell in love with the characters and the plot itself. This book is mainly plot driven more than friction driven but it’s easy to follow along with. The characters are fun, easily understood. The main setting is at an academy where both the main characters are going through trials and building strength for the final test, The Transcendent. There are fantastic side characters as well. I loved the camaraderie between Huntyr and her friends. But we don’t like Lanson. 😆 We do have some plot twists that come into play throughout the book. Secrets and betrayal to be seen. I did adore Wolf and Huntyr’s relationship. It was a classic slow burn trope. They didn’t hit it off fast, but in time their feelings grew. I loved their banter, so sexy. Wolf is your next book boyfriend; Huntyr is your next vampire assassin independent bad-a*s female. Themes include loyalty, trust, self-discovery, a true slow burn romance. Side note: book ends on a angsty cliffhanger! • Emily, thank you for writing this awesome novel and I cannot wait to devour Book 2, Blood So Brutal! 😍 • Happy reading, my lovelies! xo

“My heart bows to you and you only, Huntress.”
Format: Kindle
3.5 🌟 This book popped up in my KU recommended reading suggestions and the synopsis sounded like what I was in the mood for. I'm so glad I took a chance on it. I went into this knowing absolutely nothing about it and ended up really liking it. I love when this happens. The main characters are likeable and I easily found myself rooting for them. There is a mystery element to each of their backstories that I enjoyed watching unfold and can't wait to get more of. Wolf, in particular, has me fixated. Love him. I found this to be an entertaining, addictive read with a plot that moves along at a good pace. It reads so easily I found myself very reluctant to put it down. Lots of twists and turns and the angst is there. A good set up for the next book to come, for sure. My issues with this book....the dialogue feels a bit juvenile at times and there is a repetitive over use of a particular word phrasing that I found myself giving the ole eye-roll to. There are, without a doubt, some pretty cliche moments that gave me a bit of the cringe. I think this could've certainly 100% benefited from more depth regarding the world building. Perhaps the world building was sacrificed to keep the pacing quick? Just a guess. Also, the lack of consistency of character for the FMC was really evident and so she feels quite illogical at times. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable read that hit the spot well enough for me. That ending certainly has me impatiently pining for book 2!

Interesting take on the genre
Format: Kindle
True rating: 3.25 ⭐️ I enjoyed the fresh take on the genre. The best way I could describe the setting and world is an apocalyptic dystopian version of Farie where vampires, fae, and angles struggle to survive in what is left of the world. It was definitely interesting throwing the academy/hunger games aspect into this world as well. Even though I guessed the final reveal early on in the book, I kept hoping I was wrong, and it would take a surprising turn. While the "plot twists" were a bit predictable to me, I still enjoyed the ride this book took me on. Another downfall for me was the plot holes in the world building... I.E. if society has fallen and the world is in the aftermath of war, how are there trains running around the world? Just to take young adults to the trials to get into the golden city? How is the train maintained, the tracks clear, etc? However, I did enjoy the FMC & MMC and thought they were fleshed out nicely. I also enjoyed the side characters but wish some were developed more like Ashalin (sp?). I do find myself rooting for the MCs to succeed and find happiness together, which is obviously an important aspect for romantasy. Overall, was this an earth-shattering, mind-bending, terrific piece of literature? No. But was it the worst thing I've read this year? Also, no. This book has, to me, the bones of a great read & just needs a bit more to push it from an alright book to a great book. Overall ratings: Plot- 3.5⭐️ World building 3⭐️ Spice 2.5 🌶🌶 Main characters 4 ⭐️ Supporting characters 3.5⭐️

great book
Format: Kindle
I am really excited to meet the author at the book retreat this month. I really enjoyed this world that she built and most of the female main character Huntress is so awesome. She goes through a lot in this book and the ending; wow! I wouldn't have even guessed. I highly recommend everyone to read this book. I have been so lucky this year that almost all the books I have read have been, so far, 5 out 5 stars.
