About the Craft:
Leheriya is a traditional tie-and-dye technique that originated in Rajasthan. The word 'Leher' means 'waves.' The fabric is diagonally folded and tied with thread before being immersed in dye, and the resist is removed to reveal beautiful diagonal stripes.
The natural variation and irregularities in the fabric are part of the hand-weaving process, adding to the unique beauty and charm of the handmade fabric.
Pre-order piece only. Delivery in 3 to 5 weeks due to weather conditions in Rajasthan.
Fabric: Soft Kota saree, hand-block printed in azo-free dyes.
Size: Standard 5.5-meter length, with no blouse piece.
Care Instructions: Dry clean only. Do not soak in water. Gentle ironing.
