The Model Expo Work Station (MET5000) was designed by modelers, for modelers — to bring order, comfort, and precision to every build, whether you’re working on wooden ship kits, aircraft, armor, trains, or fine detail projects.

104 laser cut MDF parts in two thicknesses; 1/8” (86 parts) and 1/4” (18 parts). Two 90 degree laser cut building squares included to aid in assembly.

Easy access slide out working surface sized to fit 12" x18” cutting mats (not included).

Two inter locking storage trays; top one for tools; bottom for paint jars and brushes. Top tool tray has four interlocking organizing spacers.

Stationary back wall tool rack to hold assorted tools; pliars, screwdrivers; etc.

Six storage drawers; 5-3/4” wide x 8” deep and various heights. Rear 4"x 6" storage shelf for taller items. i.e.: glue bottles; model kit boxes.

Left end storage pocket for sandpaper; instruction manual, with a 2” capacity masking tape holder for various sizes of tape rolls.

Right end storage organizer with three pockets to store rulers; scissors and various sizes of wood strips with an open window to access short sizes. Also a 2" capacity masking tape holder for various sizes of tape rolls. = 3/4” x 7" clamping rail for spring clamps on the right end for easy access.

Assembly rack and shelf with indexing adjustable model holding fixtures in two versions — one for ship models and"a second for airplanes. Both have notches for rubber bands to hold models in place. Shelf surface can hold working tools and supplies below the model for easy access

Assembly rack indexes onto the top edges of the base unit for easy storage or out of the way while working on model sub-assemblies. Assembly rack is sized to allow an opening for light to see the tool rack below.

Model holding fixtures utilize machine screws with wing nuts to adjust and position to fit model size. They attach to movable notched braces to accom- modate various model lengths.

Smooth MDF surface suitable for painting once Hobby Work Station is assembled.

Perfect size, good privacy

This is a good divider. The dark, thick panels provide blockage from the light. Assembly was not very hard, but it wasn't simple. I ordered this product two times in the past couple of weeks. The first time I assembled it, I noticed that the picture assembly directions aren't completely accurate. The labeled parts don't match the labels on the instructions. The wrench included in my box is too big for any of the bolts or screws used for assembly. After getting the right tools and matching against the instructions, I finally got it assembled. The divider I ordered this week is missing two wheels and there is no number for calling the supplier; thus, I seem forced to return it, instead of easily getting the two wheels. Once assembled, I am pleased with the end product and I consider it a good value.
