Artificial turf has long proven itself as a durable training surface – indoors and outdoors – and is especially popular in strength and functional training sports. With excellent gliding properties for sled pulls and sled pushes, this turf provides a safe, comfortable, and highly durable surface that also protects your flooring from wear and tear caused by metal skates. It also works perfectly for warm-ups, cool-downs, and functional conditioning exercises.

Designed for strength & conditioning

This turf is specially engineered for continuous heavy use, making it ideal for sprint training, sled work, and conditioning drills. Thanks to its extra-dense construction (63,000 stitches/sqm), it provides a smoother glide and even greater resilience than other turfs.

Black design with training markers

The black turf comes with 8 cm lines along the long edges and through the center, giving you clear reference points for drills and sled work. It also features a 30 cm × 30 cm Strength Shop Chikara logo, placed 37 cm from the bottom left and bottom edge – a professional finish for any training facility.

Durable & low-maintenance

Built from robust polypropylene yarn with a double PP backing and SBR latex, the Black Turf is resistant to heavy use while remaining easy to clean. Simply vacuum with a brush attachment and occasionally rinse with clean water to keep it fresh. Avoid dropping weights directly on the turf and keep it clear of hot surfaces to prevent fibre shrinkage.

Installation & versatility

Measuring 2 m × 12.5 m, the Black Turf can be laid as a single strip or combined with other flooring surfaces. It can be cut to size for smaller training areas or wall edges. For sled training, we recommend fixing it securely to the ground for maximum performance.
