The helmet's unique interior allows for resizing for an optimal fit and better heat transfer through an improved headliner. Ventilation is derived from the interior venting forced air channels and additional strategically placed ventilation ports. Aerodynamics are improved with the duckbill design, which also reduces neck strain. Strength and durability are enhanced as the helmet is vacuum bagged and autoclave cured to maintain lightness. A duckbill and built-in airfoil reduces neck strain and wind drag. Other notable features include a composite tri weave design, stainless steel hardware, a Kevlar chinstrap, improved adjustability, and heat exhaust. The shield is made of .125in Polycarbonate with a tear-off post. The helmet offers great visibility, M6 inserts for head-neck restraint, and a fire retardant Nomex interior, making it Snell SA2020 rated.
