What makes the Aurora PRO stand out?
The Aurora PRO belongs to the popular SiOnyx Aurora series: four compact night vision cameras that are the first on the market capable of processing the night environment in color. Compared to the other models, the Aurora PRO goes even further. For example, the lens allows three times more light to pass through, and the internal CMOS sensor delivers even greater light output (and therefore a longer viewing distance). With the Aurora PRO, you can still see at night with the slightest amount of residual light. The environment is displayed on a full-color OLED screen, which can also be set to monochrome to create additional contrast. The camera features 0.5x optical magnification with a wide 44-degree field of view. With digital zoom, you can enlarge the scene up to 3x.

Recording
You can capture photos and videos to document situations or subjects. You can use modes such as HDR, loop mode, time-lapse, panorama, and burst mode to achieve the perfect shot. Your photos and videos are stored on the included 32 GB microSD card.

Remote control and real-time image sharing
Through a Wi-Fi connection, you can remotely operate the Aurora PRO and view/share live images at distances of up to approximately 15 meters. To do so, you can use the free app for iOS and Android (available in the Play Store/App Store as 'SiOnyx Aurora').

Multifunctional use
You can optimally adapt the use of the night vision viewer to any situation. For example, you can hold the viewer up to your eye, control it remotely, or use it hands-free by mounting it to a helmet or goggle kit (primary system). In addition, the night vision scope can be used at any time of day—at night, at dusk, and during daylight. You can also use the camera without concern in harsh weather conditions thanks to its IP67 rating. This means the device can withstand a 1-meter drop onto concrete, is completely dustproof, and will not be damaged when submerged in water.

How do the internal components work?

Using patented ultra-low light sensor technology, the CMOS sensor is capable of processing the night environment in color. The Aurora devices can ‘see’ infrared wavelengths above 1100nm.
