You will love our Maranka Gourd birdhouses almost as much as your feathered friends will! Marankas are 10-16" long, dipper-type gourds that are very knobby and unusual looking. One of the most attractive, hard-shelled gourds even before we spruce them up for our birds.
 
Grown, harvested, cleaned and crafted at an old order Amish homestead in Lancaster PA. Hand painted in beautiful bright colors to entice birds while providing an instant enhancement to your lawn or garden. Standard 1½” opening is ideal for a large variety of birds from wrens, chickadees, bluebirds and more.

Each piece is a unique, functional work of art, crafted with care and tradition to bring natural charm to any space, whether displayed on a porch, in a garden, or as a cozy accent indoors. Durable, high quality outdoor varnish finish provides lasting protection against the elements.
